  • man thats crazy

  • pure beauty :)

  • 0:30 haha lfmao

  • Nasa called, they want thier computer back.

  • @imGarliky Fail, He said that he used a command to slow it down but render the frames, all computers that can handle crysis, could handle this...

  • @imGarliky And alot of computers can handle crysis at the moment.

  • The ai actually applies a flinching/shocked/scared animation when you shoot a rocket/any powerful weapon when in front of/near a human soldier, nice. You don't see this much level of detail in most games...

  • @XenonG yeah, it's those tiny details that make it amazing.

Notice the small flying shard from the explosion hitting the ground at 1:15!

  • fixed_time_step x

    FTW!

  • my 9500 run on 240 FRAMES... per year

  • does any1 know a mod, wich slows down the sound too?

  • extremely cool. can you write me what your hardware specs ? and the commands for the console ? thx :)

  • DAS INSANE!

  • Superb!

  • 1:10 omg this is the shit bro, look at that nkorean, he's feeling it coming.. can't believe he's fking feeling it comiiingggg mate!!

  • 1:12

    Beautiful.

  • @buob1234567890 Yea the explosions really are something.

  • This is the time_scale? You are record all in slow mo and some scenes (without expolsions) are in speed mode (by program)?

  • how did u make it that smoooth ?

  • @booody999 console commands in th engine to slow the game down and render all the frames.

  • @AlisterBuss so u mean when you slow it down u get more fps right ?

  • @AlisterBuss What command u use in console?

  • @AlisterBuss how ??

  • @AlisterBuss oh... PFFFFFFFFFFT. I thought you were gonna use twixtor... (I guess the effect you would get this way WOULD be smoother,)

  • cryengine 2 <3 cryengine 3 will be fucking awesome!

  • @illomanGER Duh.

  • @AlisterBuss what means "Duh"? :D

  • @illomanGER It means 'obviously'.

  • @AlisterBuss :D

  • @AlisterBuss Duh.

  • @illomanGER eh not really, i mean maybe, since some rumours are going on saying shadow frames don't match real object.. and other probs i forgot. but let's hope not. let's hope it will have better graphics and even more optimised than warhead :)

  • @EvilN00ber Yeah, but the point is not the graphics (only to 49% :D) I hope, that the Story is much deeper than in Crysis :D But I think so.

  • @illomanGER yeah anyway, the new atmosphere is gonna provide us excellent experience, like i saw in some videos that they showed wreckages in buildings and stuff. anyway, even if the graphics are worse than crysis, it STILL will not go disappoint us too much. It couldn't go too far away, right?? aha

  • @EvilN00ber Yeah, you got the point But I think, that the grapic... awesome :D

If its not I will by it anyway ;)

  • @illomanGER ok haha. i think the pc version's sale will be higher than the consoles'. Cause some of the console players haven't even heard of it :S haha. or maybe it's not tue??

  • @EvilN00ber Yeah. I would only buy that game for PC,although I have a PS3 ;) . The graphics on the PC is much better, then on the consoles. And I can play better on the PC, than on the PS3, because of keyboard, and mouse. This is an advantage over consoles. So I will buy it for the PC ;) And when I see peoples, who say, that the consoleversion is so gorgous, and have much better graphics, I can only laught. :D They havn't any anticipation.

    mfG illomanGER ;)

  • @illomanGER hahahHAAHAH LMAO, yeah man, show them some screenshots and their eyes will go bursting.. lol jk, haha, no other console can beat a pc customised with the best specs!! wait.. hmm.. nonono that'd be a bit.. spoilt, won't it?? ahaha.

  • @EvilN00ber Yeah, you're exactly right ;) There are no consoles, which can beat thr pc ;) Console = old pc. :D:D

    right man ;)

  • @illomanGER when consoles came out though they where super high end pc's so to speak

  • @illomanGER AND YES IT IS!½!!!

  • @MrSolbrillan ? What is 1/2?

  • @illomanGER I failed !!!!!

  • @illomanGER yea the graphics r better in crysis 2 pity the game is shit tho....1st crysis is god compared to it

  • @pazza1010 Yeah, you're right. The crysis flare gets lost in the urban. But its cause crysis 2.

  • Can you tell me how you did this?

Did you use a command to slow it down, then speed up the boring bits to make them look normal speed?

    If so, whats the command.

  • @tom1161 Looks through the comments, I posted an explanation somewhere. You can google it too. :)

  • Practise your korean throwing skills

  • @tom1161 Unfortunately without the HUD I can't switch suit modes so I couldn't throw him with Strength mode. :/

  • @AlisterBuss hehe.

also: "Practice" How could I make such a retarded mistake.

  • wow, this looking better than normal

  • what are your specs?

  • @illomanGER WHen I made this video I had a 8800GTX for a GPU, Q6600 for CPU and 4GB RAM.

  • @AlisterBuss nice, nice ^^

  • @illomanGER Those specs get me about 30fps on Very High, incase you were wondering.

  • @AlisterBuss could a gtx275 do this ? :)

  • @DannyDaBaddy The 240fps isn't realtime. There isn't any hardware that could do that. This was a rendering exercise. I used an 8800GTX to render this, but in realtime I could get 30FPS.

  • @AlisterBuss ok :) sry im kinda new to pc gaming :P

  • @DannyDaBaddy I'm kind of new myself. Only been PC gaming for 2 years or so, so I'm glad to help out others if I can. Took me a while to get in to it.

  • xD AIMBOT :P

  • @0xXDeadmanXx0 No, but I did have about 30 seconds of real time to line up each shot.

  • thanks man ^^

  • and great video man ^^

  • @illomanGER I used the fixed_time_step command to lock the framerate down and the capture_frames 1 to take footage as screenshots. You can use Virtual Dub to put them together in to a video then edit it. You can't record audio with this method.

  • did u used a movie config? and when, where can i get it? thx

  • and how did u record this?

  • can u please tell me how to do this? When I#m right, can I do this with virtual dub? but then is the sound wrong.. Did <ou make this at that way? And sry for my english...

    mfg illomanGER

  • September 2010 and this is still the best graphics in a game so far

  • Amazing video, shows the powerful engine very well. Btw whats the song it's also amazing!

  • @myg0tpurepunk The song name is in the description.

  • @AlisterBuss Oh right, sorry didn't see it was on my netbook.

  • Bloody great vid.... keep posting

  • omg, i just watched this 720p, and i realized at 1:11 the AI actually flinches as the rocket goes by.

    fucking awesome

  • That game look so good :)

  • Jeez, this put's Uncharted 2 to shame... wow. Just wow.

  • @greentea1494 and its like 2 years older haha

  • please tell me how you did this, i want to try it out if you would. :)

  • @Hebreeezy Try google but I sent you a message with the basic idea of it.

  • when i last played that was crysis warhead not crysis.

  • @fronkonschteen You are correct, but I find little point in the distinction. It's a rendering exercise that could be performed in either the original or this expansion. I just happened to load up this level. Nothing about the actual level means much in the video.

  • what are your PC specs?

  • @llTristanxXxll

    GPU: 8800GTX

    CPU: Q660 2.4Ghz

    RAM: 4GB 800Mhz

  • @AlisterBuss wtf. i've seen Alienwares twice as powerful reach only 60 FPS!

  • @llTristanxXxll Alienware isn't special, its the same tech that anyone else can buy (just more expensive with them). It's not 240FPS realtime. Read the description. It was merely a rendering exercise.

  • holy SHIT!!! this was amazing man....

  • SICK! What video editing software did u use?

  • @brazen604 For this I used Adobe Premier.

  • you know any pc specs capable of actually running this in real time? that would be splendid...

  • @drocks22 There are none, it's impossible with current hardware. You wouldn't be able to notice anything over 60FPS anyway. You can of course use mods and commands to run the game at that speed.

  • If only he used the nanosuit.

  • the best way to have a slow motion is to have low fps lol like 9 to 15 fps :DD

    thats the best lol

  • @thetrialshot The worlds best powerpoint presentation.

  • :) use slowmo mod from crysis

its also work in warhead :D

    p.s. nice!!

  • This is the best slow-mo Crysis video I have ever seen, and the music is awesome with, it whats the music called ?

  • @RickRay9 Monarch of Dreams by Twelve Tribes

  • easily one of my fav games. sooooo underated because of preformance required

  • Man this video is just soooo sick. Music and all. Nice work.

  • aw man thats just buetifull

  • super motion blur

  • Yeah, I know right. Because of how it was recorded motion blur is a bit more... effective than normal.

  • wow nice head shot! :-D

  • what are ur computer reqs?

    btw cool movie :D

    5\5

  • CPU: Q6600

    GPU: 8800GTX

    RAM: 4GB 800Mhz

  • @AlisterBuss playd that with 8800GTX 240 FPS ???

  • Not realtime. Read the description.

  • @TjCry It takes a beast of a system created by God to run Crysis or Crysis Warhead at 60 fps at Ultra High Settings in 720p with no lag.

  • thanks, i made a video with your help! from 5 fps to 50! watch?v=_rbfMXJFDIM

  • Why not post it as a response? :)

  • Oh and is it just me but do your explosions look better than they should anywya?

  • They look even better than in the video, since the video quality isn't as good as in-game obviously. But hey, everything looks better in slow motion.

  • so u havn't used a mod or anything to get a better look?

  • No. I have my own autoexec which has commands that do various things but it doesn't make a huge difference.

  • wierd... coz i went and did it and i got ultra high graphics... but it was still a step down from yours... not sure if its atmospheric lighting or what not... anywa thanks very much for all your help man... ill link u my movie when its done : D

  • I'm not sure. Post it as a response, if you like. :)

  • So let me get this straight... you typed a command into the game so that it ran super slow... and then sped up the normal stuff in an editor?

Could you tell me how 2 do that coz im planning a slow motion seen in a movie im making...

  • To achieve the game speed required you use the command: 'fixed_time_step 0.00416666625'. This will slow the game down, then you speed up the footage in editing.

  • yeah cool stuff...

i wouldn't be able 2 make it go that slow in the editor would I?

  • Yes, why wouldn't you? This could have been shot in the editor. I didn't, but it could have been.

  • Ok so how do i do it in the editor?

  • You can bring up the console in the editor, and just copy and paste that in. You can even put it in before you enter the game in the editor.

  • No idea, sorry.

  • schön was man mit cheats alles machen kann^^

  • nice work 5 stars

  • awesome video and music!

  • At 0:55

    I jizzed my pants.

  • pro 1 shot headshots. :)

  • In real time I had about 15 seconds to line up each of those shots, so it's not that pro. :p

  • wow this is insane

  • veryy nice whats the song??

  • Read the description. You would have had your answer immediately.

  • Very NICE!!!! Love it man

  • this is the most epic crysis video I've ever seen! I'm speechless . A well deserved 5/5. btw you should upload more crysis videos at 250 fps without slow mo

  • Without slow motion? The whole point of recording at 240FPS is that I can do 10x slow motion and export the video at 24FPS. Even if the video was the full 240 FPS, you wouldn't be able to see it.

  • yeah but I would really want to see it in normal speed because in the beginning (when it wasn't slowed down) it looked unreal. You should post a video going normal speed without slow motion because people like me who can't run crysis would DIE to see what it would look like at that frame rate.

  • You won be able to see any difference though. Youtube videos are 30 frames per second, and your monitor probbably only has a refresh rate of 60Hz and you can't see higher than your refresh rate, and I can't upload a video higher than 30FPS so 30 is all you could possibly see.

Such high framerates have no visible advantage, and can't even be rendered in real time I'm afraid. :/

  • just do it and we'll see. i bet you 100 dollars

  • Jeez, what is it with people betting me money lately? It can't be done, I don't need to support my claim, anyone will tell you.

  • No computer can run crysis fully maxed out at 60 fps nevermind 240 so you (or your pc) hold a world record.

  • I'll send u a link where it said that if u want

  • People should read the description.

  • .. i don't know if i should cry or laugh when i read something like this x)

ALISTER YOU HOLD A WORDL RECORD ;D

    too bad it's rendered :'(

  • You couldn't see 240FPS anyway, so buying all of the tech needed for 240FPS would be ridiculously expensive for nothing.

  • buy a 200hz monitor :D

  • True, but most people don't even know about that. They think they can see the difference beyond 60 on a 60Hz monitor. I guess if you can think you see a difference, that is cheaper than making it so there is an actual difference and people are still happy.

  • true ;)

but a little difference is noticeable but only between 60 and over 300 :p

@60fps you see a postponed row climbing up the display very fast :O this is the error which vsync should fix :p

you didn't see that at veryhigh fps but that doesn't matter, because you didn't notice this if you didn't pay many attention and if you aren't in a quiet area :o

i can notice this in css if i'm alone on the server

  • great video!!

  • oh man... this video is fantastic!

    very good...

    5/5 + fav!

  • Thanks. :)

  • the human eye can only notice 60fps

  • Yes, I'll be sure to trust your totally valid opinion on what the human body is capable of. It's not even relevant.

  • Thats not an opinion, thats Fact.

  • There's scientific study devoted to this. Some of it claims that we can't see more than 30, which some people still argue.

If you run a game at 100FPS on a 60Hz screen you won't notice the difference. A screen can't display more frames than it's refresh rate so you would see 60.

Accepting that we can only see 60, for whatever reason, is not progressive. Media is not as fluent and detailed as real life so we need to develop it.

  • If we could develope that in some period of time, the movie and gameing worlds themself, would change completly and some might like that others might not.

  • No we can only notice 29fps.

So if you can run a game at 29fps of 100fps. It doesn't matter.

  • 29? Why 29? Because NTSC media runs at 29? What a load of crap.

  • Why 27 or 28? 29 just happens to be the number of frames that our brain needs to see a video (or whatever) as being smooth. So in actual fact it's not a load of crap, so don't jump to conclusions. 60fps is a load of crap, because we would then need to run DVD's at 60fps and games so we could interpret it as smooth.

  • 24 frames per second can be read as consistent motion, not 29. It could be lower infact, but PAL runs at 24 so that's the minimum I know.

There is no 'need' to run at 60FPS but there is a difference. There is a difference between seeing something as motion and being as fluid as real life. Current video standards are not as fluid as real life but they are still pretty good.

Why would monitors have high refresh rates if we don't need more than 29?

  • Movies at cinema are in 24 fps. Human eye can understand A MAXIMUM of 12 images per second, on average people. Still, some people can understand even up to 50 images per second (lol incredible). This is completely unralated with smoothness of a movie footage: that "I can understand 50 images per second!" person will not have problems to watch a movie at 24fps.

A VIDEOGAME at 24fps looks sometime not very smooth on progressive scan. Of 25 interlaced (50 semifps) it look smoother.

  • It is a very complicated matter.

One can't say "hey 60 fps, 29 fps, 30fps, 120fps, lol did I make BINGO??!"

BTW if I want to play a first person shooter I mostly look for 40 or better 75fps capped with vsync. If I'm playing a racing game I try to have a completely fixed framerate: but that is another point, regarding HOW CONSTANT is the smoothness... totally un-interesting in, let's say, a role playing game.

  • how you record it ?? with 8800gtx you can have around 20 fps...

  • In gameplay I get about 30. 25 - 35 at different times. This is pre-rendered. Using the command the game slows down so each frame is rendered and captured as a still image so it plays incredibly slow so I can get all 240 images per second.

  • what commands is this ??? i need to write it on console ??

  • and what you all rig?

    8800gtx and.....

check my pc rig on my channel and my newest videos :D

  • CPU: Q6600 2.4Ghz

    RAM: 4GB

Use google for a tutorial if you need the commands. No advertising please.

  • nice rig :D

    i have q6600 too, but i overlock him to 3.8ghz :D

  • That's quite extreme. I might overclock mine when I get a new GPU.

  • Oh no: you should overclock yours!

With a 8800gtx you can pound much much more your games ;P

With stock cooler and average RAM and MoBo you will not have a single difficulty. Overclock it to 3.2 gigahertz. Zero risks.

    I'm astonished.

I cant believe a person like you (you look like a pro ;P) hasn't overclock his q6600!!

    maybe it's even a step G0...

  • AWESOME

  • this seriously should have been the official game trailer shown on tv.

i definitely would have bought it.

  • beauuuuuuutiful what graphics card do you have btw
