I havent been able to stop listening to their music for the past 6 months. Every time I hear another artist, I think I need to listen to Queen. Basically whenever im doing something outside of work I need to listen to their music to survive. Just watching this clip has reinforced my addiction 10 times over. I dont think it will ever go away. Im a musician, but its not my main career. Queen has made me want to play music more often, even now at the age of 27 :)

Brian May is a guitar master Roger Taylor amazing drums and John Deacon on bass brilliant all 4 songwriters so much talent in one band pretty rare. I was lucky I saw them in "77 and"78 at MSG never saw anything like it they did not just do a live version of their albums..from the first cord..they grabbed you and took you on this amazing journey

this song is amazing on so many levels. love the opening drums, guitar riff there, the intro is fantastic. the whole song is great. I love the way John's bass thumps that beat out just after 5 minutes too.... one of my fave Queen tracks.

i don't understand why brian may would play with a coin, but anyway this is one of their best songs. very progressive too. the first album is very underrated, my favorite queen album.
@IceCreamAllTheTime Try with coing and compare with plastic pic--coin gives these juicy high-end harmonics. Problem is that after that the pic feels kinda dull compared to coin for a while :D

Freddie and his sidekicks produced some original music but I still find it nearly impossible to look at him, despite being well past my homophobic era. He's every bit as creepy looking in this video as I remember him. God rest his soul.

For example, look at the picture on the right with the Mother Love video. Freddie is in a simple white t-shirt. This was the real Freddie.
Never forgot hearing Queen's first album in November 1973 at Central Michigan University's radio station. I told the Music Director: ""I've never heard anything quite like this before."" I loved it !!!
Brian May is still so under-rated as a guitarist. Time and again we see the likes of Hendrix, Townsend, Lynott, Slash etc etc mentioned as class guitarists before Brian is even given a second thought...did any of these guys make their own guitar, and if they did, would it sound as classy as Brians 'big-red?'...I doubt it! Brian May, take a bow...the world's No.1 guitarist!
Queen has sold most albums overall, more than Led Zeppelin, so that tells you right there, what the people's choice. Besides, Queen can sing almost any type of music and make it a Top Ten. Sorry, but as Freddie always said, if the fans like the music, that's what counts!
I marvel at just how good Queen really is, early stuff, later stuff, no matter what they produced it was sheer awesomeness and stands the test of time...

Thank you Farrokh Bulsara, Brian May John Deacon and Roger Taylor from someone who has been a fan from the first time I listened to Queen on my Sony Boom Box while sitting on my friends lawn..from My Fairy King to Keep Yourself Alive to Liar we knew this was a group of Amazing, Brilliant guys..first time I saw them MGS 1977 took your breath away! the music took slightly different paths through the years but each new album blew me away..they never disapointed...Freddie gone way too soon RIP

@coolieo255 First of all, this video was filmed over 35 years ago. Second, this was rock with a touch of glam. Third, this was Freddie on stage. Off stage he dressed very conservative. For example, look at the picture on the right with the Mother Love video. Freddie is in a simple white t-shirt. This was the real Freddie.

Brian May is still so under-rated as a guitarist. Time and again we see the likes of Hendrix, Townsend, Lynott, Slash etc etc mentioned as class guitarists before Brian is even given a second thought...did any of these guys make their own guitar, and if they did, would it sound as classy as Brians 'big-red?'...I doubt it! Brian May, take a bow...the world's No.1 guitarist!
