  • Its not complete without the faint splashes of Demise's footsteps...

  • I hear Ganon's theme!

  • Apparently Spirit Tracks was really good. I must verify this, as I could not bring myself to pick up Phantom Hourglass after the third or fourth Temple of the Fricken Ocean King...

  • 0:09 to 0:50 Reminds me alot of Mario galaxy, does it remind it to anyone else?

  • @MrRANDOMDUDE28 no it doesn't

  • holy crap the beginning is the airship theme from super mario bros 3

  • Demise, if you ask me, Is everything that Ganon has to live up to. Besides, I personally thought that we knew of Ghirahim's status as a lackey from the get-go, instead of building him up like some great evil instantly makes the relationship between him and demise better than the one between zant and Ganon

  • ... that remind EVRY Nintendofreak to SuperMarioGalaxy. Enough said.

  • Demise is such a nice person. He wanted my grave to be in such a beautiful place :D

  • intimidating, yes...but going forth with pride & not a shed of fear in your soul...only then can you call yourself a true warrior.

  • and everything in it is MINE to dominate. MINE to subjugate. MINE TO RULE! When I finish with you, you can take solace in knowing your friends and kin will soon follow as I WIPE ALL WHO OPPOSE ME FROM THE FACE OF THIS WORLD!! It won't be long now, at last the almighty power I've sought for millenia, I will take the Triforce for my own...and the world will be under my foot for ETERNITY!!!!!!"

  • @TheBiggamer64 *draws sword and shield, ready to battle, showing a serious face*

  • "Ah so you've decided to meet your end in battle after all, it pleases me to see such misplaced valor, human. Take a moment to appreciate your surroundings for where we stand shall serve as your tomb for eternity. The hate for the gods that has boiled in my veins, you will taste it all in the bite of my blade. The only question left is how long you manage to remain standing before I take your life, try to keep it interesting for me would you? And when you do fall, know that your world

  • 0:52 is taken from the fight with Malladus. At 1:07 part of Vaati's wrath starts playing. And finally it ends at 1:22 with a chord progression similar to Ganon's theme

  • @poxriddenwhore Hello, top comment.

  • when i heard this i was really hyped, like this was going to be an epic battle and then i hear Ganondorf theme play at the end and a big grin spread across my face and i thought to myself "So this is how it all began..."

  • Honestly, Ganondorf has never lived up to Demise's greatness. But i guess the other Links and zelda's havent either. LINK forged the master sword AND claimed the full triforce in this game. Zelda is a goddess. This game has the ultimate trio o_O

  • @EnXh94 Demise had a Dark Master Sword and still lost to Link. At the moment they fought neither Link nor Demise owned a Piece of Triforce. And he had absorbed Zelda's soul. Seriously, as far as I'm concerned Demise, well, er... Didn't live up to Ganondorf's reputation, even though Demise precedes Ganondorf in the timeline.

  • @Lathernia What i meant was link was the first person to claim the triforce after hylia. Ok lets think of it this way...would any other link have beaten demise? The only complaint i have is we dont know much about demise. We know he "conquered time" and is the "source of all monsters" but apart from that and almost killing the goddess he doesn't have much of a back story.

  • @Lathernia But remember when Groose said that there was sometime before demise absorbed her soul completely? so that means that Demise was still in a weak state and if link took too long, demise would be too powerful to defeat.

  • 1:21 foreshadowing to Ocarina of Time when Demise's hatred will be reincarnated in the form of a demon thief...

  • 1:06-1:21 is part of Vaati's Wrath theme from Minish Cap!!!

  • "So you have decided to meet your end in battle after all...it pleases me to see such valor, human."

  • another scary thought is if link did fail this battle the last 26 years of zelda would have been erased this is the original structure not oot

  • know what i think the design of this arena was a sign saying that if demise did kill link skyloft was next

  • battlefield of demise that sounds redundant how bout final battle of the skies

  • demise:hah i used to be an ugly monter but then i took an arrow to the knee

link shoot himn with the bow in the knee

    link: your still f*ck ugly

  • 0:38 Enjoy some 8.bits majesty & 1:20 Hear this... And you may guess who will Demise become someday in the future...

  • There is a Slight Gannondorf theme remix at about 1:20 to end

  • Am I the only one who found it laughably ironic how beautiful that battlefield was?

  • @Religion0 he made it beautiful to show this would be link's tomb since he thinks he would kill him but he trolls him by making it a evil tomb with dark clouds afterwards when link is happy.

  • @TheAlbinoGoron Hmm... I don't think I'd mind a tomb like that. XD

  • @TheBeybladeFTW How dare you say that?

  • Just defeated Demise today.....man, that was one awesome game. Time for Hero Mode! :)

  • If there are any true Zelda fans here, they'll agree that no Zelda game has been bad (excluding CD-i and the spin-offs).

  • @shoyru18 Ocarina of time was bad.

  • @TheBeybladeFTW AHAHAHA! Fail troll.

  • @shoyru18 "And remember Link, the CD-i games don't count!"

  • @shoyru18 True :)

  • @shoyru18 We try to pretend that the CD-i games didn't happen. Also, I dont like the Gameboy games made by Capcom, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.

  • @Fluxriflex2 Are you kidding me? Those were the best portables!

  • @shoyru18

I've never even heard the words bad and Zelda used in the same sentence

  • @shoyru18 define spin-offs please

  • @Assassin7G3 Tingle's Games. Must I say more?

  • @FrogORubber no I understand. sorry some people list

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks as spin offs.

  • @shoyru18 I.Agree.

  • Comment removed

  • @ACMilanW960i no, the only thing who sucks here is you, ALL ZELDA GAMES are the best -.-

  • @MultiSonicmario Its only my opinion sorry, that is said "sucks". I would say: Twilight Princess and especially Wind Waker for me, had the most tedious and boring parts of all Zelda Games, and thats because i dont like these 2 games!

The only Zeldas that I enjoyed 100% are A Link to the Past and Skyward Sword in first place and close second Ocarina of Time and Links Awakening :)

sorry i dont wanted to be rude

  • @ACMilanW960i ah okay, sorry if i was rude, i thought you said TP and TWW are stupid games... its ur opinion :)

  • @ACMilanW960i Shut the fuck up go get a life, zelda games are ALL nice! No one is better than another one, all depends of your opinion frikin' troll go get a life

  • @Bicycle95 i read all the comments here and all said that Twilight Princess is superior and without any fault, the same they said about Wind Waker. there are Zelda fans that hate on Skyward Sword, but they dont say that the wolf parts in TP are boring, the search for the Triforce in WW is tedious etc.

thats my opinion, i'm not a troll, i want to enjoy all the Zeldas but especially Wind Waker for me is the Zelda with the most boring gameplay.

  • "Now a new legend bound to this great story stands ready to be revealed. A legend that will be forged by your hand."

Which will it be? The Legend of Demise or the Legend of Zelda? The answer will be decided by the strength of your blade.

    This is it.

  • @KingIchigo It ended up becoming the legend of Groose.

  • Epic. Whenever I hear this, I always think of the Forest Temple in OoT.

  • This game had the most holy shit moments in zelda history, and i love it! The biggest holy shit moment came in cutscene right before final ghirahim fight. You know...? the black sword...?

  • demise looked like akuma from street fighter

  • Seems like the Demise fight takes place in the place that Zelda and Link conversed in the sky at the end of OoT

  • @uiruu No, it looks like the place where Link fights Dark Link... in OoT

  • @DonMercu No, that wasn't in the sky. Besides, it was in the water temple. I doubt Demise was fighting you in the Water Temple. But he definitely could have been in the Sacred Realm, or wherever the sky-Zelda-Link-end-of-game place is.

  • @uiruu He said he was going to forge a battlefield for them. He made it entirely for that battle. When he was defeated, it was destroyed.

  • @shoyru18 Not sure I believe it was destroyed afterwards.

  • whoever created the battlefield for this game is a total genius! i loved it!

  • Man i Was Fighting Girahim Or However you say his name. I had only one full heart left and i managed to evade his kicks and punches. then he pulled out his sword OH Shit. I still evaded all his movements and didnt take a hit. then i was like yes i beat the game. then nope there stood this big as mother f**ker. shit im gonna die!. You wish to face me? very well i shall prepare a place for us and well settle it there follow if you are brave. link nods. I was so reliefed he said that phewww

  • @MajoraVids Yeahhh! I got left with one heart while battling his sword phase, and still managed to beat it, then I saw Demise and thought: "SON OF A BI... ow! He's isn't going to battle with me now, THANKS GO... ...HYLIA!"

  • Demise AKA :Akuma

  • @bigbillsguy2: If you mean to say 'Demon' in Japanese, then you should take into account that, in the Japanese version, this character is only referred as either "Maou/Demon King" (by Girahimu) and "Shuuen no Mono/Tyrannic Being" by all the other characters, including the "title" which pops out at the beginning of the fight. "Ma" can also be used to spell "Demon" in Japanese. "Akuma" is correct, but it's more concrete, as if in THE Devil or THE Demon. I hope this helps you.

  • @E45LP3 Thanks for the info dude it was useful, but I was referring to the character from Street Fighter.

  • I now welcome the 100th like of this video

  • @kakuzu573 I will deliver the 101th... :D

  • My top 4 Zelda villains

    Ghirahim

    Ganondorf

    Zant

    Demise

  • If someone dislikes this, I swear to god I will slap them in the face with my hand.

  • @jesus77755 woah jesus, might wanna rethink that. one simple slap from you would send them in the deepest darkest pit in hell..................next to ghirahim.

  • @shaqatk4884 And swallowed up by the imprisoned

  • @shaqatk4884 Have you considered, that perhaps his name is Jesus, not actually referring to "Jesus all mighty stuff"

  • @jackofblades94 well yeah. i was kiddin' anyways though. why else do you think i mentioned ghirahim.

  • @jesus77755 I'll help you

  • @jesus77755 dont forget to slap with one hand and have your other arm behind your back (im not sure, but i think ghirahim uses his left hand to slap if i recall correctly)

  • @jesus77755 i did :D

    umad?

  • @TaroulelionReborn Unsuccessful Troll is unsuccessful.

  • @jjnnerazor dont call me a troll 'cause i shut yo pathetic ass down fool XD

  • @TaroulelionReborn What are you even trying to say?

  • @TaroulelionReborn Wow I found you here, too! Oh and look, you blocked commenters from beating you in a troll battle! Aaaaaawwww! How cute! Listen bro, you think you're successful at trolling, but you aren't, bro. You aren't succesful at anything. Go die, Dumbass! :D

  • @jesus77755 Better go hunting, darling, someone did.

  • @jesus77755 looks like someone is about to get slapped by Jesus

  • @jesus77755 YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!@£@$@!!1 *presses the dislike button*

  • @jesus77755 I see what you did there...

  • Hey...Demise looks kind of familiar...I wonder where I've seen him

    (1:22)

    ...Oh...

  • Obama:hmm...half of congress is for censoring the internet...the other half is against it...It all comes down to one last congressman.

    >congress looks at final voter

    >song starts playing.

  • In all honesty, I wasn't too much a fan of this final boss. The setting and tone of it were perfect and amazing but the trick to it was just another swordplay challenge. In a way it feel s like you've grown in the journey as you've gotten progressively better at the controls and this is like a final test but I would of loved a little more. Like Wind Waker Twilight Princess or even OoT's.

  • my top 5 Zelda villains now:

    -Ganon

    -Majora

    -Demise

    -Ghirahim

    -Dark Link

  • I didn't even kno he transformed demise is really psychotic

  • Man ganon is a beast who u kno that dies standin up lol but demise is really powerful but if u keep reflectin his blows and don't run away he's easy but with his second form keep using that cool as thunder lol he's the easiest final boss in all the zelda games

  • Majora's still my favorite non-Ganon final boss in the Zelda series. But Demise definitely beat the rest.

  • Honestly, I still think Ganondorf was and always will be the best villain in these games. But when I beat this game... god damn. Demise and Ghirahim are a close second.

  • @Tacosruleandstuff i honestley dont see any reason why ganon is better than demise,

  • demise was the coolest zelda final boss but he was also the easiest and fastest

  • I want this sword. Also: MOST BEAUTIFUL BATTLEFIELD. And you want more Demise? If there's a sequel he's gonna be NintendoHard to beat and everyone's gonna hate him X)

  • @kilala813

Since this is a prequel to Ocarina of Time and he has mentioned that he will return as a new incarnation of hate (SPOILERSOMGOMGaka GanonSPOILERSOMGOMG), there won't be sequel relating to Demise.

The only sequel to Skyward Sword is Ocarina of Time.

  • Skjuhdsf Ganon's theme at 1:22! MINDBLOWN

  • i beated demise on 1 try

  • @WTFvimeoNFTW good for you

  • I went through an entire potion++(which contains two doses by the way) and two fairies before actually beating him.... and THEN I found out I could use the damn lightning....

  • Ganondorfs theme at 1:22!!!

  • @MrRichardfam8 After all this time someone finally did find Ganon's theme in Skyward Sword somewhere.

  • At first he was hard, I used 4 heart pots during the battle. But when I redid it because I didn't copy my save file at first (didnt know about hero mode) he seemed pretty easy, I didnt use any pots lol. Probably because it was memorization. I love links spiral lightening fatal blow during the battle.

  • Thumb up if you went into this battle suspecting your iminent doom and ignoring that you needed to copy your game into a different saveslot (because you avoided spoilers), then defeated him on the first trial (while screaming like a maniace an wavering your arms around) and then agreed to play hero mode ignoring what you were doing.

  • I had jumped right into this fight so during this whole scene I just kept replying in my head,

    "YOU!

    ATE!

    ZELDA'S!

    SOUL!"

  • Anybody else think this Zelda game had BY FAR the best Zelda final boss?

  • @TheBiggamer64 No, tbh. The ending was GREAT, but the boss just wasn't as good as TP Ganondorf.

  • @MEGAJASONGUY08 well I personally thought Demise looked badass. And the lightning on the sword? holy shit. And the atmosphere it gave off with the standoff up in the cloudy area was brilliant in my opinion.

  • @TheBiggamer64

No, because it's the only boss I beat without dying. I lost 4 hearts. It took me 5 minutes. Honestly, the final boss battle was the only part of the game I felt disappointed about.

  • @MrYoursuchanoob Wow...it was pretty tough for me until I figured out you could use the lightning. Shame you thought it was disappointing

  • @TheBiggamer64 It was too short...Even the first time I fought him, before I found out about the lightning strikes, I was slightly disappointed.

  • @MrL1193 well there was more to it than that, there was the final battle with Ghirahim and the build up and all. But to each his own

  • @TheBiggamer64 man, the battle against ganondorf in twilight princess was the best. 4 stages in the same battle, all with completely different enemies.

  • @IIHiaGoII perhaps you're right. But I thought this one gave off a great atmosphere with this music. Perhaps this one takes number 2?

  • @TheBiggamer64 Wind Waker had 3 phases for Puppet Ganon before the swordfight with Ganondorf (which was almost broken into multiple phases itself), and made the swordfight much more interesting than just "shield bash, slash, repeat." Ocarina of Time had Ganondorf, the race to get out of the tower, and a two-phase swordfight against Ganon. Those two, along with Twilight Princess, all felt more satisfying.

(Ghirahim really steals Demise's thunder more than you do in Skyward Sword.)

  • @MrL1193 But you did have multiple phases for the final battle. There was the race down the hill to Ghirahim against the army of demons, then the last duel with Ghirahim, and then the two phase battle with Demise himself. With this music accompanying the beginning of the battle. It truly felt, to me, like this was it. This is what it would all come down to.

  • @TheBiggamer64 They don't feel like parts of the same battle. You're struggling against Ghirahim at first, not Demise. And once you're finished with Ghirahim, you're given a chance to save and go off to recharge/complete sidequests/goof off before coming back for Demise. So in the end, Demise himself has 2 phases, both of them short.

It's like I said: Ghirahim stole Demise's thunder. Ghirahim felt like a separate fight (which was pretty cool), so there was little left for Demise.

  • @MrL1193 at least it was still fun. Demise and Ghirahim are the best designed villains in the franchise I think.

  • @TheBiggamer64 Ghirahim was definitely fun. Demise was pretty good too, but Ghirahim completely steals the show. He has more appearances, more fights (unless you count Imprisoned battles, but I hated those), and even has more phases in his final fight than Demise! Demise just gets a couple scenes and one 2-phase fight at the end of the game and that's it. He's not exactly lame, but like I've been saying, I just wished there were a bit more to him...

  • @MrL1193 fair enough

  • @MrL1193 I totally agree with you! At first I totally had a lot of trouble figuring out how to beat Demise, but once I finally got the hang of it, he's... too easy. In Twilight Princess, Ganondorf and even Zant had like 4+ phases! And mini-phases in between those! I really wish they would have done more with Demise's character and boss fights, even if at first I had trouble with it. That's what made it so fun. When I finally killed him, I was kind of like "... Wait, that's it? Really?"

  • @MrL1193 I was hoping a longer battle just like in Twilight Princess. Ganondorf had at least 4 battles and we had battle Demise with it's two battle style. But I enjoy battling him, since he was far tougher of blocking your attack that easy.

  • @PokeMasterVideo The whole sequence with Ghirahim is technically part of the final battle too though.

  • @IIHiaGoII First stage was a copy-paste of OoT Ganondorf. Second was fun, though. Third was boring as hell. And fourth was pretty good too. I would say his first and third phases are just below lame, especially third....

  • @DarkLlyud but the 1st battle was designed to be a revised version of the ganondorf battle, I think. and I liked the 3rd battle :P. but well, it's your opinion. what boss fight do you prefer? demise or ganondorf (TP) ?

  • @IIHiaGoII In terms of difficulty, I preferred Ganondorf from TP. Also, I loved the second phase, when he turned into Ganon... He was freaking huge. And that was scary. But somehow in terms of originality, I really liked Demise. I just think that using the Skyward Strike was less redundant than fighting in close combat. But Demise also looked liked Ganondorf, except with the MAGNIFICIENT flaming hair... Gorgeous.

  • @DarkLlyud

Demise was Gannondorf when hes a Super Saiyan :P

  • @TheBiggamer64 not BY FAR mate... what about ocarina of time ? the final hit was just awesome, but that is because we're in 2011, and OoT was 1998

  • @Thelegendofzeldafanz I'm trying to move on from Ocarina of Time. SS really is the better game. For me at least. Plus this boss was a little harder than Ocarina of Time. Took me three tries to figure out what to do. Plus Demise looks insane. And Ghirahim was badass OOOOMMMMG I GOTTA PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN.

  • @TheBiggamer64 I think it had the best final boss, but not by far. Ganon from Ocarina of Time had my entire body shaking in pure epicness. The final boss(es) from Twilight Princess were pretty damn awesome in their entirety.

  • @Joshawotter I loved the OOT final fights, and the ones in SS too, but found the ones in TP So. Dreadfully. Boring. They were easy and dull - Ganondorf barely attacked you, and when he did it was just a weak little slash. And aside from the battle against Possessed Zelda, I thought the music used was subpar.

That's why I was thrilled when I had to use a whole Heart Potion against 2nd Demise, even with the Hylian Shield (I didn't know about the lightning trick). It was a good challenge.

  • @Xagzan Hm, good point!

  • @TheBiggamer64 I thought it was a bit too short too be honest.

  • @TheBiggamer64 This boss was so awesome! The battlefield was awesome too! I think think demise is sort of ganondors father.

  • @AaaronioD

Gannondorf IS Demise, he is, just like Demise, the reincarnation which represents evil (triforce of Power) to counter the reincarnation of Link which represents Good (triforce of Courage)

  • @exterminasation The Triforce of Power is not made to represent evil, it is simply the Triforce that Ganondorf believed in the most out of the three.

  • @exterminasation Lol what? It's more like Ganon is Demise's hatred incarnated which will continue to pursue those with the blood of the goddess and spirit of the hero for a cycle without end. It's got nothing to do with the Triforce in this case. The Triforce only split up and manifested in them in OoT, never in Skyward Sword.

  • @TheBiggamer64 he was too easy

  • @SecretiveSpyDude Yes, I agree. It may have been original, but he was far too easy. I can easily beat him with no damage, because his attacks are predictable. Nonetheless, it was an epic boss.

  • @TheBiggamer64 Yeah

  • @TheBiggamer64 in terms of gameplay, yes. in terms of music, no. twilight princess's final ganondorf battle had the best final boss music.

  • @RandomAnonymousBeing fair enough. This music is ok though, don't u think? Sets the tone for an upcoming final battle?

  • @TheBiggamer64 yeah, its pretty good considering koji kondo wasnt involved. but it still wasnt as good as other zelda final boss music

  • @RandomAnonymousBeing yeah I know! I'm beginning to wonder why that man is seemingly becoming less and less involved with Nintendo's music...

  • @TheBiggamer64 I thought he was too easy even on hero mode so I try to handicap myself, like taking my shield away and not using potions or anything other than my sword

  • @sh4d0w2013 ok ok I admit it. The final boss wasn't as hard as it could've been. But besides the difficulty, it gave off a great atmosphere, Demise looks insane, and the lightning on the sword was badass.

  • @TheBiggamer64 True man I love the thunder sword

  • You know though I wish the zelda games never end I cant believe because of demise of all of links descendants must carry on the blood line and withstand the curse.

It shows even in another life demise will never let link live his life....

  • Much of this song sounds very Castlevania-esque, but that could just be me.

  • Disappointed that Demise was the final boss. I'd have loved to see Ghirahim make one last stand.

  • @thedivinity24136 he did. Ghirahim, as Demise's sword, got one last chance to take it to you. and failed. YESSSSSS!!!

  • @jasken45 I meant him coming out of sword form to fight for real, without Demise swinging him around.

  • EPIC LIGHTNING FINAL BLOW

  • Demise: "You shall taste it all i-

Me: "Look, can we just skip to the part where I kick your ass already?!?"

  • 1st phase... this must be a joke this is WAY too easy. 2nd phase... shit! 0___0

  • There are in the OoT water temple. *DARKLINK*

  • The battlefield reminded me some of Wind Wakers final battle. I thought it was funny to see Demise looking so out of place in a place he had created. Then he darkened the sky, and it looked even better.

  • 0:52 Try timing this with Demise pointing a you.

  • @SchoolWok24 i just did

  • Omg ganondorf's theme at the end! Well, sorta.

  • This entire scene and fight is perhaps my favorite moment from any video game. That or the Great Mighty Poo from Conker's Bad Fur Day, as starkly different as those two things are.

  • Who else timed the intensifying music to Demise's dialogue?

  • @1:20 I got the fucking best goosebumps

  • What better way to kill a zelda boss than to fill the mastersword with lightning and plunge it into his chest!

  • The question remains how long you will manage to remain standing before I take your life. Try to keep it intertesting for me, would you?
