So this is a B-side from the SATT era? Yet, it's better than every single song on that album. Puzzling.
Also, I prefer this type of Manics song to anything I've heard so far on PFAYM - when I think of Manic Street Preachers I don't expect violins to be the dominating sound. Have a Red Bull guys and write another EMG!!
This, along with Masking Tape, are two of the manics finest songs of the Richey-less era. I can never comprehend why they included drivel such as SYMM on This Is My Truth and left this, Prologue, Buildings For Dead People off that Album. It's an absolute shame that most people will never hear these songs.
yep i leant dick of a mate this. and that was ten years ago now. i sill havent had it back. i'll never be able to buy the sing if you tolerate this again.
rockin song..blew me away when i first heard it ooh goin back over 10yrs ago now (geez how time flies!)...agree that their B-sides are often high quality, easily grace most bands albums of their genre..i think they felt that it didn't quite sit in line with the sound and feel of the This is My Truth album..Prologue to History the other b-side was apparently really close to making it on the album...more fond of montana/autumn personally!
The Manic Street Preachers have often made weird album/single choices. This is a fantastic pop/rock and easily would have been a No.1 on the hit parade (I'm bringing term back).

Never liked Richey Edwards (lots of what he said was immature BS) much, but I've always liked the Manics' music and this should have been a single.

Richey would have agreed with you.

The guitar solo is simple but damn effective and angry! I would love to see them play their b-sides (Especially montana) live.

It's about theodore kaczynski (aka 'The Unabomber') who discarded society and hid away shooting rabbits & behaving in a rather untoward manner

That pretty much sums it up.
If "behaving in a rather untoward manner" means sending mailbombs
