Clearly the guy posting the video does not know how to merge... both lanes should be used until the lane ends and then you should alternate in letting those cars in. They are not cutting in, they are merging when that lane ends. Otherwise, there are huge back ups where one lanes sits empty and the one that does not end has a mile of traffic on it.

I suggest you take a deep breath every time of of these asshole does this..and they will do every day of your driving life, and just turn the other cheek. It's called being selfish. If you notice all traffic jams start at on and off ramps where people that are selfish own the road. Instead of spreading out and using the zipper technique they cram all up together and create this wall and once you get passed that crap it clears. People need to spread out and a turn signal is not asking your permission it's telling you they're merging over.
I live in Medford and run into around 30 morons a day on the road. I even ran into a ridiculous amount when my commute to work was 5 minutes. People clearly don't know how to drive around here.
