Nozzle gel is the best stuff for helping to keep the spatter build up from happening, its not 100% bullet proof but its helps alot ,anti spatter spray is srpayed on around the weld area so help reduce spatter sticking to the are around the welded area. it does not help to keep the nozzle clean..weather you mig or flux core weld nozzle build up and the odd wire sticking happens alot , its the nature of the beast..
i've said it before... and i'll say it a million more times! expert village is far from expert and is a youtubers worst nightmare!! i would vote to have their channel removed from youtube!!
Damn man, what the fuck is wrong with you guys? If you're such experts in welding why the fuck r u watching this then? Go weld your mouth shut and leave us beginners to our videos.
NEVER I've seen so many illiterate people ragging on others as I do in welding videos.
the wire brush bit ive never thought of, thanks for that. but also spraying the inside of the sheath with anti-spatter makes the spatter drop off when simply tapped on your bench. not too hard though or your tip will move from the centre.
He is some expert on welding, he doesn't even have a pair of mig pliers to clean the end of the torch!

Thats how you clean a home welder, on an industrial scale they just change the tip and the nozzle if it gets clogged up.
As people have already mentioned, anti spatter spray is a wonderful thing.

Get those special MIG/MAG pliers. Then it's a snap to clean. And next time use anti-splatter spray before assembling.
And if the wire welds to the jet, the wire speed was wrong (too slow, too long an arc).
Those pliers are called "Original FIX", Swiss Patent.
