I like Launcher 7, enough to buy the donate version (which gives support for folder tiles, amazingly useful). I totally agree with the calendar tile - I tried to use Agenda Widget but it doesn't seem to be supported (the widget appears but never fills in). For the weather I use the WeatherBug widget in a 1x2 tile, looks nice. My biggest gripe is the tile size, I would love to get rid of the arrow on the right and stretch the tiles so they become the equivalent of android 2x2.

Launcher Pro music player and Launcher 7 completely pwned WP7. Now you can have Windows phone functionality but with a lot more apps. I don't see why someone would go WP7 at all.

Well after using this on the Galaxy S and then getting a HD7 running the 'real' WP7, I can tell you that its only similar on the outside. You dont get the integration as you do with WP7. Which is kinda sad because I thought this launcher might switch some people over to WP7, but I think it might turn more people away than attract them.

If you think you used WP7 just because you have this launcher, then you cant be any more wrong.

I like it, but the only thing I dont like about launchers is that you dont have the ability to take them down without deleting them..unless I'm wrong. Does anyone know how to access it and stop it without deleting it entirely?

@Sman72 you can dl an app from the market called Home Switcher, it will allow you switch between all the different launchers without having to delete them.

@LoLsaladz go to you app settings go into launcher 7 and press clear defaults. when you press you home button you will have the option to change your launcher

It's called a design language and having taste, unlike another OS where they attempt to squeeze as many static icons as they can, resulting in the ugliest pile of shit ever.that app drawer in android? archaic piece of shit UI from the desktop PC days. the phone is not a PC. In terms of user interface design, most android devices use an OEM hardware skin like motoblur or htc sense, just like the featurephone days... OEM UI

How many did android have 5 months after release? according to most metrics, less than half that number. and guess what? android counts wallpapers and themes as APPs, essentially padding their app count. so in reality they had about 1000 apps 5 months after release, whereas WP7 has 20,000. its called GROWTH, and its shown in OS where developers want to flock towards.

@LightCan also, let me tell you that if you use Win7 Phone, 3rd party applications do not work in background.

so if you download a nice music player with bass boost and eq and other stuff, you can't use your phone for anything else, because it will stop playing the music.

same goes for messenger apps if you download and use them, you can't receive messages if you browse the web or do anything else.

oh and 80% of the apps on Win7 can't be used in landscape mode... this will be the next crapberry
