while doing this project, I followed everything you said but I get script errors and the marker just flashes. Not sure what the problem could be. Any suggestions. Also, how did you make the asterisk without actually typing it on the keyboard?

me with the code on how to code the buttons to go to the mc instance name of 'pages' and play either frame 1 2 3 4 of 5 and help with the coding for the button to even go to that frame lable as every time i program it to do it i just get button code error.

hi guys can please someone help me. i have downloaded a template from template monster and the website is one of those where it is all in one time line and you have to make all the pages in one movie clip and then code the animated buttons to go into the pages animation and then to play the right page. i have been doing this a month and no matter what i do and how many of these i watch none of them work for me. can please someone help

Very helpful video I must admit. However for some odd reason my marker never goes back to the first button. I have to double check the instances again, but I am sure it does not reach the first button after leaving.

But how do I put text over the icons?

It seem's that the text duplicates itself for every button.

Which of course I don't want.

I made a website recently and created flash buttons to navigate the site. Unfortunately, the navbar goes to different pages, but the site remains on its current page--as if the flash navbar is its own page layered behind the home page. So, how do I get the flash navbar to make changes to the page I'm on. I hope this is well explained, and if not, just ask and I'll elaborate. THANKS!
