  • Oh no, I'm late for my Doctor's appointment.

  • lol pretty slow

  • Good pointless fun as it should be.

  • i wouldint like to put my balls on top of jet engine....

  • It says "test run" not "WOT top end test". Don't let the little wheels fool you, some mini bikes are scary fast.

  • @stopglobalswarming agreed he is by no means at top speed.

  • Is this what you get when you respond to those comic book ads where they tell you you can make a jet engine for your bike??!!

  • that sux. the thing is slower than most bikes and its probaly 1 mile to the gallon. INNEFICIENT!!!!!!

  • i hope you didn't get whiplash during this test ride

  • i would love to put an jet engine in my car..

but it's too expensive, the fuel its expensive and it make too mutch noise

its better buy a plane or a ticket flyght

  • He probably would a gotten more speed if he had somehow connected the gear to the free turbine shaft instead of just using the thrust. Unless he already does, cant really see it

  • The real wacky racer....amazing...i wait you arrive in Rio de Janeiro....Brasil.

  • lol still just as slow waste of time in my mind

  • lol thats funny

  • hahahah!!!! it sounds like a little jets flying around

  • ultra inefficient vehicle

  • u can make turbines very efficient, as they are mechanically way more elegant than reciprocating engines

  • 100HP of Sound, 2 HP of actual movement. HEHEHEHE

  • what is the TOP speed of that thing?

  • for how little that thing is it isnt that bad to be fair lol awsome

  • for all that damn noise it sure doesn't go very fast. Thumbs down.

  • Right on, that is badass.

How fast can you get it going?

  • street legal hey, sounds loud to me

  • Curious the back wheel is so small. Gues it needed more gearing down than the tranny bodge you have :P

  • i'm curious, what's it's top speed?

  • Thats an auxilirary power unit/plant for aircraft. Its not used for providing thrust, just auxilirary electrical power.

  • It's a WREN ( UK Made ) Model airplane engine, used for prop jet models. It seems far too small for use as an APU and the use/hours would not be economical in that application.

  • is sam retarded

  • whats that on the back a bar bQ

  • Scooters (at least in Wisconsin) have a limit on engine displacement before you need a Motorcycle license. So where does this thing fall along those lines? It's sweet!

  • A jet engine isnt going to have fantastic acceleration unless it has a grossly oversized motor.

What it does probably have is a much higher top speed than seen in this video. Search the other videos, there is a guy with a much smaller bike and much smaller engine going way faster.

  • All true! And by its very nature turbine engines dont actually start to work efficiently until you get a certain amount of air (speed) flowing through them.

  • Ok, for all you people that think this guy is going slow, it's a car park. He could hit that truck very easily, or fall over. Second of all, he's not putting his foot down on the accelerator, it the brute force of the fighter jet engine that's pushing him along. God! Love Dankashen.

  • sounds like a f-15

  • Dude hes going so fast that his skin is coming off! lame

  • wow so fast...

  • i thought it would be fast........

  • that is the coolest scooter i have ever seen. is it on ebay ???

  • What's the difference between a turbine and a normal jet engine?

  • Jet's create thrust, and turbines creat shaft horsepower

  • Yeah, I recently looked at a diagram and I see now how it works. xD Thanks anyways :D

  • Only in American!!! How much it cost?

  • the coolest thing is its onboard starting system . No leaf blowers to carry around. Cool.

Wonder if you actually produce all the gearbox stuff( gears, calculations) or the turbine already came with some sort of gearing.

  • Turbine has a reduction for turning a propeller, but the output to the further reduction was designed and built in Sam's office and model shop.

    Thanks!

  • I'm guessing you would get pulled over about 30 times a week with this thing because of the noise levels.

  • Cost of running & weather keeps it off the highways more than the noise.

  • Haha... definitely ride this with big ass goggles, a scarf and bomber jacket. LOL

  • LMAO I want one just to drive by the front entrance of a Wal Mart!

  • SO.....ANTICLIMACTIC!!

  • lol

  • My sentiments exactly!

  • u need a bigger turbo with more thrust. and put on a afterburner so it looks cool

  • he needs to make one when it really goes fast

  • What a BEAST!!

  • wie lahm is das denn?????????

  • you could run the thing on diesel fuel with a little micron filtering...

  • that scool

  • oh yeah

  • make sure it doesnt burns ur ass

  • Ha haaa:O) LOL:)

  • is that a thrust based engine or does it have an output shaft?

  • The motor has an output shaft and is offered by Wren as a model turbo-prop system. The reduction gearbox provides output to the variable speed transfer via belt. THANKS for the interest.

  • Wow, imsuprised a chopper engine which is designed for high RPM and low torque has enough power to drive a bike..

    Shows how powerful turbines are....

  • Man, you guys really need to get more videos of this thing up with it driving.
