Actually you unlock him by beating Chapter 9. Then you have to buy his machine with the credits that you win from beating story chapters and Grand Prix.

You have to complete the entire story mode on any difficulty and then buy his racer from the shop for an amout of credits....
Getting to the end of story mode is difficult though :)

Does anyone believe that the 'lyrics' in Blood Falcon's/Black Shadow's/Deathborn's themes aren't even english?
It seems quite obvious in Black Shadow's theme, but I don't know.

Actually this is true, Captain Falcon defeats him in the story mode and then goes on to defeat even more daunting foes.

Check out Connected90's videos on Audiosurf... I believe the similar vehicle is the Ninja Mono.
