  • I support it! I can see where employers are coming from though. See, most of the country is still in the dark about transgendered ppl. So they fear, and discriminate against what they don't know. Employers basically don't want to scare their customers away by having a man dressed like a woman to represent their company. NOW HEAR ME OUT, IT IS TOTAL BS AND I DO NOT AGREE WITH IT, but i think that is the main reason why they wont hire trans folk.

  • Everyone is an individual and has their own talents and strengths that a job would want. The fact that a boss will have homophobic employees run away, or he won't be able to hit on a man that he thought was a woman, doesn't change that. Being transgender doesn't get my respect but it doesn't provent job ability.

  • it's not the fact that they are transgender...its the fact that they are just ugly. Just don't be ugly.

  • @jordanc182

Haha. I shouldn't of laughed at that. I did. I'm going to hell....

  • so at 1:13 they show the highlited states, were can i get a print out of that showing what it means?

  • As far as 'featured person' at the top of the clip... does ANYONE think they want to portray themselves in a poor way? Are all of us Master degree graduates? Has everyone heard of EDITING and PROPAGANDA? I know that chick and she's cool, how would you stand out when a cnn cam it shoved in ur face? Look, everybody.. stop pointing fingers/placing blame and look in your hearts.. we ARE an intelligent country... GET IT TOGETHER PEEPS!!! aome of my bf's are tg. some are str8t.. who cares? LIFE

  • 'that blonde chick', yeah, she's like my best friend. asshole. and she's done a WHOLE LOT more for America's social understanding than you will ever. Get it, ass: it is a PAIN to be transgendered... (btw - do you get the diff between TRANSGENDERED and a drag queen, there ass?)

Finally: There is a reason for me responding like this. Despite I have relatively little ideal how to check these comments... PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE. WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT, HELLLLOOOOOOOO?

  • but also, you have to deal - hopefully, and in a positive way - with dealing with THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. I'd say, now.. 'how would it feel?' but you know what? YOU'D NEVER KNOW!!! GET IT?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!!

The asian girl is a wonder, she's terrific and works her *ss off for the community. The chick on the get of the interview - (name n/a) - is a PERFECT example of wtf is wrong with the lgbtq community.... laugh at your ignorant cousin, then eh?.. ( cont see next post)

  • (then I see what has been posted... -in my 'name' as it is...)

Transgendered people are just like any other HUMAN BEING. They eat, breathe, feel, and have the same (if not more...) intelligence than alot of people I have met.

Imagine if (and I'm going to make it real simple here for obvious reasons..) you JUST KNEW when you were young, that u felt u were in a different body - life - possibly gender. You are not only assigned a life of pain/confusion [see next post]

  • Alright, ladies and gentlemen...

    This is ViciousSilhouette. (J)

I've unfortunately (or fortunately...) not been aware that this is 'conversation/postings/exchange' has been going on at all. AT ALL until my 12 yr old niece said hey! Your Youtube shows this that and the other. [see next]

  • No offense, and it feels horrible for saying this, but I think transgenderism isn't the only reason this women hadn't been employed for two years. She seems to wholly stand behind that as the primary reason she isn't employed, and appears to be using her transgender status to somehow FORCE potential employers to give her a job. I dunno, make due with the resources you have I guess. I wan't to say thats not fair to others, but being trans, in of itself, is SO not fair to begin with anyway.

  • We will continue to protest. Rock on!

  • Couple of questions:

    Is there a "gay community"?

Is there a concern that the combination of GBLT concerns clouds the issues unecessarily?

For example; conservative christian blacks may understand civil rights for their own experience but not support GBLT freedoms. Does that kind of fracturing happen in the "GBLT" community or is it really unified? I'll be in Austin this year to learn more

  • freak without teeth..maybe a better rim~job

  • Somos todos los iguales.

  • Transgender equality... thank goodness for the women and men who are protected as transgender persons in California for standing up for equality everywhere.

  • I would never want to work for a person like you

  • wrong? I'm a spiritualist I don't think anyone is wrong or right. Your intolerance is astounding I really hope that your son or daughter never has any gender issues. You obviously have little to no knowledgeable education about transgender people. I will be happy to educate you. I am a filmmaker and I love educating people about trans topics. I will have videos up within the next few days.
