im just wondering if i could only use 1 speaker and if so, is it better than Xmini 2?

and could i use just the 3.5mm jack instead of using the micro USB?

@mugshit You could just use 1 speaker, but I think I would go with the iHM60 if I were leaning towards only using 1 most of the time. Either of these speakers hook-up to your music device using a 3.5mm jack.

iphone produces poor sound quality..try using a walkman or sansa fuze, they produce better quality that ipods and iphones

Thanks for the response. I might consider buying these when I purchase my iPod because I heard these speakers have good bass for portable speakers.

@FluffyLA Actually the iHome iHM60 has the best bass I've heard out of all the mini speakers. These are nice because you get a pair, but the bass isn't as good as the iHM60.

Can you differentiate the left and right sounds like in certain songs, the sounds pan left and right. Can you tell the difference?

@FluffyLA Supposedly they are a stereo pair and you should be able to decipher left & right sounds. This probably isn't going to help, but I just listened to a few songs and I believe I was hearing differing sounds from left & right, but I'm not 100% positive. It's tough to tell because you can only space them out so far from each other. Either way I can tell you sound really good for small speakers.
