Cebu Pacific is ranked top 3 when it comes to low cost airline here in asia, top 27 in the world. Cebu pacific is the domestic carrier of Philippines. Better than PAL

Thank you for your nice comments/wish. No, 150 planes by 2020 and 104 by 2015. The new international airport will be at Long Thanh which is about 25 miles from Saigon. This airport will cost 8 billion dollars when all stages are completed by 2020. It will be the biggest airport in SE Asia and can accommodate up to 100 mil. passengers a year. The Tan Son Nhat will be only for domestic flight. I also like Singapore, Thai, PLA, and Malaysia Airlines. I heard many good things about them.

Having been state owned, VN Airlines get funds and support from the government. In a way, this is an advantage. Their goal by 2015 is to expand air routes to North and South America, Africa, and the middle east. They ordered and have pre paid more long range air planes like 787 , 747, A305, etc. Yes, I used to mistrust the VN government. But so far, they have my trust when after a little more than a decade, they have brought VN from a low income to a middle income nation. What nationality

We won't buy 747 but A380. Ordered 6 of A380 and will get first one by 2015. As for 787, we will get the first one by also by 2015

Remember, this video is about ASEAN airlines, not economy. I did not post comments to boast or rant about VN. If you are SE Asians, you should be happy if ASEAN is wealthy and strong. At least I am very happy and proud to see a strong, united, and prosperous SE Asia. On the contrary, I would feel sad if we are not united and bad mouth one another.

Vietnam Airlines by 2015 will be the second largest airlines in SE Asia only behind Singapore Airlines. By 2015, VN Airlines will have 104 planes and 150 planes by 2020. By that time, they should improve their services dramatically. I love all Asean Airlines. SE Asians are the best.
