@elcielo1981 They are RIDICULOUSLY hard to find. And when you do find one that just so happens to be for sale, they can add up to be over $3000.

@elcielo1981 If you want to buy a Hang you will need to apply for it in written form. aint shit. the Hang is only made by 2 people and since they have a very special philosophy, people will need to wait for their Hang to be produce, cause they dont wanna do mass production. in their blog the makers say, that the Hang this year costs 1300 €.

seems as they decide if theyre going to sell you a Hang or not. pretty weird.

Most people that play a Hang-drum are self-taught there is no real way to play it. It's all personal preference really. There is however a strategy to hitting the drum for certain sounds, so really anyone who can play one effectively is a bit more than amazing.

it's a 2nd generation from the Swiss guy. The PANart isn't as great of a sound as the originals. Still, get whichever one you get your hands on, they're both rare right now. Been waiting on one for me for two years.

try taping a little bit of rolled toilet paper or even better, foam, over your mic holes. It works like a windgaurd and prevents distorting quite nicely!

i got mine from panart so it cost me around 1500 usd. ebay is screwing the prices up though, feel bad for those who want one so bad yet have to try and compete with ebay. write a letter to panart and that is the best way to get one :)
