  • Yes sir that is one lucky car!!!! :-) I have a 1978 fleetwood brougham de' elegance and a 1979 sedan de ville but under your hood is well kept mine is nice but not like yours happy driving

  • You sir are one lucky man, I would love to own a beauty like this.

  • Great car, congrats! Will be selling my 69 soon - sadly :(

  • nice

  • button to the left of the brake pedal? there'e a small parking brake pedal and the hood release above it...

  • @kiheisun headlight - high beams.

  • @shane970 that's the only other thing it could be - however you can't really see the high beam switch in this video?

  • I think I'm in love, for a car like that I'd consider giving up women ;-)

  • Nice Coupe Deville! Reminds me why I liked the late 70's body styles. Sure beats my 84 CoupeD, haha

  • Beautiful Caddy. The color is just gorgeous! Makes me miss my 79 Sedan deVille. I concur completely on the detailing video. I've paid good money to have my 74 LTD detailed and it's just never to my satisfaction. I'd like to go back to doing it myself, but there are SO MANY PRODUCTS out there nowadays. Haven't a clue what to use that won't do more damage than good. I'd especially like to see your process for that sparkling clean engine compartment!

  • Starts right up.. like fucking new!

  • any idea what size bulb is on the opera lights?

  • what does that button do? at left of the brake pedal

  • @twist2g22 headlights - high beams.

  • @shane970 thanks nice car by the way. JUst got me a 79

  • Your ride is great! This is what I call "a car"!

I've seen you have also a Lincoln Mk V, which one do you like better?

  • @lshin80 Ride and build - Cadillac. Looks and styling - Lincoln.

  • @shane970 Is the car for sell?

  • @shane970 Is the car for sell? Please giveme an answer on: info@savis.ch. I appriciate your answer.

  • that thing is just plain gorgeous!!!!! Looks flawless all over!! Has to be show-quality from what I can see on the video.... that gas pedal looks bigger than my foot... haha...

  • @biglinc1

thanks! it's a fun car! Maybe i'll post the process of detailing the car to make it look show-quality. Paint restoring and polishing takes a lot of steps and time, but it's work is rewarding. Vote thumbs up if you think a "detailing" video for this car would be cool to watch.

  • @shane970 that would be cool to see a detailing vid of this big classic ride man!! thats one awesome car for sure!! I know any detailing takes a big effort, but definately something this size!! THUMBSUP!!

  • Wow! A triple red deElegance. I notice it has the 8-Track/CB radio. Does it also have the astro roof?

I have a '77 Superior Crown hearse on a Cadillac commercial chassis.

  • That engine is clean. Originally, I'm sure this was at leat a 40k car.

  • @DogsLoveUs - In 1979 this car, with all the options, cost around $12K. We detailed the engine - you noticed. Also paint correct buffing of the car - a lot of work and weekends to get that shine and to fininsh a complete detail - worth all of that fun! Thanks for the comment!!!

  • i would never let that classic beauty go.

  • @JoJoStar22 Thanks! As long as I have the space to store it, this car's staying around for a long time. Toys get bigger as I get older and I like 70's cars (as you can tell form my other videos). Thanks for comment!!!

  • @shane970 it's sucks they don't make cadillacs like this anymore.

  • @JoJoStar22 I'm with you. Big luxury is long gone. No long hoods or even hood ornaments - shame. And the more I work on the car the more I realize just how well thought out and built this 1979 car is.

  • @shane970

    I have a 1987 Sedan Deville.

it's the short body, front wheel drive caddys

    what u think of those?

  • @JoJoStar22 Very pretty car!! What size engine? When you gonna post a video of it? I saw your nice video of the 1988 taken at night - looks great!!! Guess you sold that one and got the 1987?
