  • Truly amazing! I guess you (or the actual programmer) spent a lot of time looking at the disassemblies to make it THAT accurate, eh?

  • Oh definitely. The code for Sonic's physics and all are actually coded exactly as they are in the disassemblies, and anyone analyzing my code who's familliar with the disassembly would immediately recognize it. There's only a few minor bugs that prevent it from being perfect as shown to be the case in this video.

  • Heh. Thanks for replying, you made me look for updates on this, and well there are updates.

  • What is pro sonic my friends?

  • a sonic game engine.

  • That's accurate enough for me.

  • Do you even play Sonic games at all?

  • To UncleKennybobs: Come on, we all have an opinion on games! And by the way, no need to be shocked.

  • So why does the ramp cause it to desync? Just wandering.

  • I wonder if it's cause Sonic is going too fast at that point!??

  • Well, it looks like that little ramp doesn't send sonic upwards in the same way. It happens on the original sometimes. Sometimes you go straight up, other times you do diagonally up and forward... weird.

  • To SonikkuHedgehog: It happens to me too. It's the speed that you're going and how you hit the ramp (like if you spin or run.)

  • Where were you wandering?

  • Because the layout blocks are different.

  • Very accurate.
