For any aussies that really have a real clue bout hip hop in oz, the hoods have done nothing exceot make sellout beats since the calling made it big, good on them for the hard work they did, but shit, the albums after calling have definately not been for the real heads who helped get them were they are now. Sad to say, but there are way better artists in oz these days then the hoods, WAKE up and start recognising the raw talent still here who dont get the recognition they desrve

I don't know all that mcuh about aussie hip hop scene due to be being Canadian. But who are you to say all they do is make sell out beats? Chances are they aren't the same people they were when coming up, so now they aren't "real" because they've grown and done exactly what they wanted?

I just don't see how you can call your self a "real head" but put any music down, one style of hiphop isn't "realer". Music evolves and so did hoods.

I stay away from the "pimpin', drugs and gang affiliated" type of rap music. Eminem is like the one rapper everyone can listen to whether you are a mainstream fan or hardcore underground fan. Hilltop Hoods are great too.
