Medieval II total war til now remains like the best rts I play and was been released 4 years ago. This game its a mark on rts(real time strategy) games. Empire total war, starcraft or comand conquer are nothing compared to MTW II.

Roem total war was in my opinion the most fun and i played it the longest however medieval 2 was amazing too and plus all the expansions that are available kept me busy. Empire total war was epic to start with but there wasnt much to it even though my computer could handle it very well plus the naval battles werent as good as i though and were way to repetitive (every map was open sea with no coastline) nice vid and im amazed that Attila lost as hes realy good at strategy games. thumbs up =)

Empire total war is as boring as hell all there are less commanding the shooting battles suck looks so boring and take to long when it is finish and they go close quarters it still sucks its like there just using plastic toys to fight each other. There isnt much Chaos like in MTW the arrows and crossbows were better there were more melee choices and you had to position your ranged units more because they get there asses kick easily unlike Empire alot more reasons but im out of characters

i had the same problem. i found the answer on a forum, just google it. you have to look for a certain file in the program and re-enter your cd key, or uninstall it and reinstall and enter the cd key again. the important thing is that you must type the letters all in caps.

Still not working? It's entirely possible that you put the CD key in wrong when you installed. Do not despair!

Go to Start, then to the little 'Run' function at the side. In the little box type 'regedit', and you'll find the Registry Editor pops up. Open 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE', then down to 'SOFTWARE'. Find SEGA, then the M2TW files (Vanilla). Click on the name, not the little + sign. The file you need is called 'CDKey'. Open, then correct your Key. Then try playing again.

the pope is a bitch in the game. i was France, England, and the holy roman empire and he bugs me everywhere, so i just end up killing and assassonating him and all the priests not bought by me. so i think although the pope is the only way to start crusades sucks docky balls.(THIS IS ONLY IN MEDIEVAL 2 TOTAL WAR, I AM A CHATHOLIC AND RESPECT AND HONOR THE POPE, ITS JUST THAT THE VIDEO GAME POPE IS A DOUCE!)

Well France might be a tough one, but as England or as the HRE its easy to befriend with the pope... And if ur patient for a while, most of ur enemies will be excommunicated and u can deal with them, cuz they will have to deal with problems from the in- and outside... The trick is to hang on for a while and befriend with the pope, without fighting other catholic factions... If u dont do that, then u have to blame urself, not the pope ;)

look it up on Google. you should find out that you need to put down the cd-key correctly whereas all letters are capital, you use no "-" and all the O's are actually 0's (might be vice-versa on that ) so instead of asking us questions like that look it up for yourself cause we wont give you the answer.
