  • Wow, it's so insane how many people agree with this prick. What a pussy, bitching about how he feels he's "discriminated" against. It's like he thinks that all women are conspiring against men. The thing is, men STILL rule the world. The only thing that's changed is that it's not ok to talk about it anymore, to make women feel better. Also, generalizing gays like that is fucking ridiculous.

  • FUnny part is men who treat them like shit and don't give a fuck get laid

  • Paula's hamster is spinning in overdrive

  • Richard is a typical jewish feminist white knight. Quit pandering, you snakes.

  • Wow, George Bush was actually right, for once...

  • I agree with Maher in that I would rather be in the dog house with my dignity than be out of it and feel like shit about myself. The one thing that keeps Maher and Lewis getting laid is they have money. You can be as honest as you want with women about how you feel if you have money....chicks love financial benefits/security. In any case, I'll be cool to anyone but can't bring myself to be anyone's doormat.

  • Kick Richard Lewis off the show!!!

  • Richard Lewis has an intellect of a twelve year old. Embarrassing.

  • The comedian is kinda funny but he's stopping the conversation from flowing

  • @true6lue88 no woman has profited from war?? The existece of America is a profit of war. The defeat of Hitler was a result of war. The union of the usa was a result of war. All things you benefit from today.

  • Until men realize that bashing women no longer works to get what they want, like it used to, they will just flap in the breeze, spewing propaganda women ignore. I see hate propaganda towards women everywhere on the internet and on here and outright lies on mens (so called) rights websites saying women are as violent as men (bullshit) and I talk to women and they just roll their eyes and say they despise men because they refuse to grow up and be honest, so they'll just do without them.

  • @true6lue88 the myth that men are violent ragemonkies and women are peacemakers is just that, a myth... Modern women are much more violent than modern men when it comes to women-->women violence and women---> children violence.

  • while men are all too eager to claim credit for every good invention they run away when they are held responsible for every bad invention too. Those inventions that have brought us and the planet to the brink of destruction. Or they blame it on women. Oh we fought wars for you is their favourite. Men love war but no woman ever profited from it. North America has never been invaded so don't say you were protecting us. Its weak of men to blame women for all their failures of judgement. Turn off!!

  • When I hear men repeating the same tired old propaganda that everything good was invented by men I think how women took care of their basic needs so they COULD go out and do the fun exciting stuff, the stuff they were given money for, awards for, while women worked in unpaid work for no recognition as free labor to men. And are men grateful? No. Just another reason why I'm losing all attraction for men. Their attitude is a turnoff. I have a career so I don't need to put up with it. Yay.

  • The thing I REALLY hate about this continuous arguement of Men vs Women is that it's so fucking generalized: not ALL men want nothing but sex and a freedom from marriage (most of my mates' are all trying to find women to marry or marrying their current partners); not all women want to settle down and have kids.

When the hell can we be done with all this utter CRAP and recognise that ALL people are different (regardless of gender) and want different things?

  • @CalamityM It's easier to have a debate that way. I'm pretty sure everyone knows not everyone thinks the same way, but it's a half hour show so you have to boil things down a bit to get your point across. Nothing wrong with generalizing things if it's universally accepted that it's just a generalization.

  • You know...it is unbelieveably refreshing to actually discover a woman who understands what it is like to be a man in this modern world. As men, we are expected to empathize with women's needs but other than the woman here, I haven't met many that even care about trying to empathize with what men need. It's just nice to see that someone that happens to be a woman has actually put thought into it.

  • Ha, I came here to see the "meltdown" that was described on Cracked.com and I find myself completely agreeing with Bill.

  • oh yeah get on wit yo badself Julia Gorin

  • Comment removed

  • I think everyone hates Richard Lewis

  • I hate seeing a man kissing a woman's ass. There is nothing wrong with support and compromise but it isn't a relationship when it's all about her needs, her feelings, her etc it's a dictatorship. My husband doesn't bow to my every command and coddle my dumbshit ideas or irrational emotions but that doesn't mean by default he's a jerk because he treats me like a person and not a child. Treat women like people, not holy goddess who need constant praise.

  • @xTheDynastQueenx Compare your comment with the video called "What Women Want is Worship".

  • "...the cynical side of me, the male side..."

What? Sorry, critical thinking isn't a feminine trait now?

  • @doombuggy123 exactly.

  • @melbyRick Exactly what?

  • @doombuggy123 Exactly, meaning that the brutal reality is that most girls lose interest in subjects like math and science by the time they reach age twelve. My niece is a bright girl, but has the same problem right now, and coincidentally she's 12. So quite simply I'm saying that he's exactly right; critical thinking is not the realm of the female brain. And don't bitch at me; look for statistics if you don't believe it. Better yet, attempt to have an objective argument with a woman.

  • @melbyRick Have you ever considered that young girls are discouraged from pursuing science and math oriented careers because of cultural values? Studies have shown that teachers are less likely to encourage their female students in math and science classes.

If critical thinking really isn't a female attribute, how do you explain the female scientists and mathematicians that do exist? Either all women lack the capacity to critical think or this isn't a *gender* issue.

  • @doombuggy123 Besides that, I can't think of a single female scientist that I've ever heard of in my life. Seriously, I'd love to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I would have to go to a search engine to think of an example of a female scientist or mathematician. Honestly I don't think I've ever met a female doctor either, just nurses. Even if there are a few, still we don't live our lives by relying on exceptions to the rules.

  • @melbyRick (cont.) I'm guessing that having an objective argument with you is going to be futile since you don't provide your own statistics and you use anecdotal evidence. But if that's the way you want to play it, I have two female math majors in my family, one of whom has a masters degree. I am a woman and currently studying biology in college. Women obviously have the capacity to think critically, what they lack is cultural support.

  • @doombuggy123 wait, what? Are we really having this argument right now, on THIS video's comment page? The point that Maher was making in the first place is that women get whatever they want and push men around, because American manliness is completely deflated in our generation. How can you possibly say that they lack cultural support? The TV and public schools, America's only cultural outlets these days, do nothing but support women and spew PC agendas. What more support do they need?

  • @melbyRick Maher is a militant misogynist. Not only is he making huge generalizations about the nature of an entire gender, but he's describing behavior that's really only applicable to a specific economic class, culture and race.

And look, if you've never heard of a single female scientist, doctor or mathematician, that's only an indication of your own ignorance. Broadcasting your ignorance is hardly doing your argument any favors.

  • @doombuggy123 Ha! MY ignorance?! Why don't you name a few and enlighten me? And what kind of bigot are you if you think that the "Making women nod" phenomenon only occurs in one race and class? Trust me, it happens all over America, to whites and colored folks, rich and poor. I've personally seen it happen plenty of times. Don't bring up your own stereotypes if you aren't willing to accept others. The truth is that it's too easy for women to make excuses these days, and men need to realize it.

  • @melbyRick Marie Curie, Sally Ride, Temple Grandin, Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey are all household names. Clearly women in science is a poorly discussed subject, probably because, as I said earlier, it's not a cultural priority.

I was referring to the caricature of women that Maher puts together, not the nodding issue. It's not a widespread problem.

Again, if women were genetically incapable of critical thinking, female scientists wouldn't exist. This is not a gender issue, it's a social issue.

  • @doombuggy123 "Clearly women in science is a poorly discussed subject, probably because, as I said earlier, it's not a cultural priority."

No, it's because for every woman one can name, one can list a thousand men on a similar level or greater.

" if women were genetically incapable of critical thinking, female scientists wouldn't exist. This is not a gender issue, it's a social issue.."

What a perversion of logic. Because some women have achieved more than most men, all must be equal?

  • @foiek You must struggle with reading comprehension because you're clearly having difficulty following that conversation.

The first comment was in response to someone being in capable of naming even one female scientist, despite the fact that there are dozens of women in science who are household names.

The second was a response to the assertion that women are incapable of critical thinking, which again, cannot be a gender issue if it's not true of all women.

  • @doombuggy123

Maybe you should read my message again. A few times.

  • @foiek If you've got a point to make, make it. The arguments you made are irrelevant to the comments you responded to, as I've already explained.

  • It's a shame that you're so caught up in particular train of thought that you've lost the ability to see an argument that completely shatters it, even when it stands on the tracks waving its arms in front of you.

They've trained monkeys to do some amazing things that some people are paid to do for a living. Does that mean that it's not a racial issue, but a social issue, when most monkeys are swinging from trees in the jungle or sitting in a zoo eating bananas?

  • @foiek What does race have to do with interspecies issues? It certainly speaks how to much we underestimate animal intelligence, if anything.

Are you suggesting that if men and women lived in separate societies and never had the burden of social expectations and limitations that women would require male intervention before picking up new and complicated tasks? Is that how you view the world?

  • @doombuggy123 The concept or race is not restricted to humans - it's not an arbitrary or bigoted notion. It's a universal characteristic of all species. You would do well to escape the confines of conventional rhetoric when it comes to these issues if you want to understand what makes humans tick.

As for your last question - I said nothing of the sort. You automatically jumped from an example of women more capable than most into a commentary on social influence, without a valid justification.

  • @foiek I was addressing the assertion that women are incapable of critical thinking. The person I was responding to made the claim that it is not within the capacity of the female brain. In order for this to be a true statement it would have to apply to all women. But because it doesn't, the lack of female presence in math and science oriented careers is not at the fault of their biological capabilities. There is strong evidence that sexism plays a role in determining the careers women choose.

  • @doombuggy123 "There is strong evidence that sexism plays a role in determining the careers women choose."

Utter bullshit. This kind of thinking stems from the pseudoliberal drivel so many college professors are teaching in women's studies courses, specifically the idea that masculinity and femininity are social constructs.

Women and men tend to like certain things or gravitate toward certain things precisely because they are men or women.

  • @OthelloCarmellow I've never taken a women's studies course, but I can tell you from my personal experience as a woman that women are held back and discouraged from certain activities that are otherwise socially appropriate for men.

Gender isn't a social construct, but gender roles are. The notion that men don't make good kindergarten teachers and that women don't make good scientists is just wrong.

  • @doombuggy123

Are women fighting for female representation in the field of garbage pickup? Lumberjacking? Coal mining? Oil rig work? Cement masonry? Carpentry?Welding? Sewage work? Plumbing?

Would you claim to believe that women are being forcibly kept out of these positions? Or that they simply aren't interested in them?

Less females choose hard sciences because less females like hard sciences. Their motivation for that, be it incapability or common lack of interest is irrelevant.

  • @OthelloCarmellow Yes, those careers fall under the category of activities that women are discouraged from participating in and are not welcomed to. Unless you can tell me in all honesty that you believe a female applicant would be handle just as seriously as male applicant for a lumberjacking position.

The motivation for their "lack of interest" is completely relevant. If the cause is sexism, I would argue that repeated displays of prejudice would make science "less interesting".

  • @doombuggy123

"If the cause is sexism..." That's really the question. I would say no, that it isn't.

    Agree to disagree, I guess.

  • so Bill Maher wants all men to be "tyrants"? not all men are like that. he needs to understand that.

  • I'll take to the wisdom of Scott Adams here. At first I thought women were attracted to jerks. Then I realized handsome men are jerks and they can get away with it.

Not an exact quote, but the idea is there

  • Men. Stop kissing women's arses. We all have to bend for one another, but most men do all the bending and cower to thier wives. I see it with so many of my friends who want to be strong but just do not know how to be, unless of course they are backing up thier womans dumb arguements.

  • another way to make a woman nod is to....never mind..too dirty

  • Real men are sensitive AND strong.....

Real women are senstive AND strong Men 'nod' because feminism has confused the hell out of people's roles. Both men and women have both masculine and feminine qualities....equally, but women are more naturally attuned to the feminine and vise versa of course. Women were 'homemakers' and men 'hunters' for good reason. but as long as there is respect....either can do either.

  • @drambuie1962 I completely agree with you,but problem is that respect has been lost...feminism surely has confused American women and that's why all these problems are coming up in the first place.

  • Also there needs to be more

    intelligent women, and an equal

balance of men and women.. and

then men will be taken more seriously

because we're out numbered, and women

have basically trained men to take orders.

  • I feel sorry for the young men

    of today.

  • I Agree some, with Paula Cale, we do want to connect with each other and we have to do certain things to get those connections with each other. With this being said, a man still has to be honest, and so does a woman.. when I lie, which I rarely do anymore.. I feel as if I have let myself down, I almost get sick to my stomach even, honesty helps people grow and learn.. so essentially women are keeping men from learning ad growing, therefore keeping themselves from this to.
  • how did it become womens fault that men lie?

hey don't lie and don't be a jerk - win

  • @sashaeloise apparently you aren't very knowledgeable on how people interact

  • @wertn09 apparently i wasn't making an observation but a suggestion.

I love your assertion that i have little knowledge of human interaction; what have i been doing all my life? U = fool. I'm going back to the jungle to hang with mowgli and magera

  • @sashaeloise There are people who have been voting their whole adult life and still no nothing of politics or how parliamentary democracy works.

  • @wertn09 Worst agument ever!

  • @sashaeloise And then you will either friend zone the guy or not talk to him at all. Fact is, women are idiots who can't tell the difference between a jerk and a confident man, a lie and the truth. So you see a jerk who is lying to you and you think he is the greatest. You see a non-jerk who doesn't feel the need to agree with you and you see a disagreeable wimp. Problem?

  • @gabangel exactly. Some men actually are sensitive. I respect Bill's cynical/realist outlook on some things, but what is up with his proud defintition of a "real man?" Jerks shouldn't have a monoply over the term "real," just as much as those men who have a hidden agenda behind their sensitive facade.

These so-called fake men make women nod, so that women can in turn make them "nod." & real men shouldn't give a shit? The prevelance of single mothers and deadbeat fathers make sense now.

  • @gabangel there you go.

  • this one is funny, creeoy true.

  • Lewis has the IQ of a 7 year old

  • as a gay man i think bill is right only a gay man knows how women think..and as a gay man...I tell women all the time stop pretending that the things u want the man to 'change' are not the things that makes u attracted to him from the first place....

I think if ppl reflect more about there tastes theyd discover that...gay men dont hold restrictions to what they like about guys...girls do...

  • @nevashiva Gay men don't have the restrictions for Men that Women do because 2 Men aren't made for Marriage. The sexual relationship is for 1 Woman and 1 Man. Most Women are looking for a life Partner to raise a family with. We aren't out cruising.

  • @OingoBoingoMe Well women don't let a man be a man, everything that a man does is silly and pointless, women love giggling about how useless are men, and love treating their men, like a social status/money making accessory. They always feel emotionally superior and more stronger than men. I am not saying women are worse, but male qualities are not appreciated if even known these days, cause girls are raised by tv with this mentality of feminism being outright nasty about what they want.

  • @nevashiva and dont tell me I am generalizing, cause you just did the same lol. And honestly that's what I see women doing all the time, including my own mother. If gay men exist is because of females who are so caught up in how righteous and how everything they do is so damn correct. Not all men are horny dogs who are domesticated and made useful by a woman, women can learn things from men too, if they stop being caught up in how pretty their hair is anyways.

  • @nevashiva I giggle at the arrogance of 22 yr old girls. If you want a Male money making accessory prepare to be dumped in your thirties when you're too old. Did you ever notice that Female Actresses have shorter Careers than Men. Regis gets old and his onscreen partner never does. You're ignorant if you think Female qualities are appreciated. Chinese girls are aborted and give up for Adoption. Strip clubs are here since Women are so degraded in this Country. Wake up!

  • @OingoBoingoMe You got me there!, I am not being sarcastic...I guess one has to be a girl to see it, and feel it. Lets just pray for the world to have peace one day..lol. I DO LOVE WOMEN! peace.

  • Could also be called making men nod off.

  • I wish Richard Lewis would shut the fuck up.

  • Wait.. I find it quite offensive of Bill to say men were real men before. Women were treated like crap then. It´s a very conservative thing to say. I thought he was a leftist. Can someone explain? :(

  • @SmileLyubov Men are better than Women. Does that help clear it up

  • @SmileLyubov that's true! I'm out of the matrix now, I see women for what they really are which kind of disgusts e sometimes and makes it easier for me to dump or leave relationships.....I'm hoping I can find a spouse by 50 though.

  • Bill is right but one sided.. Women might not lie but they have a lot more social rules they need to follow. Women want to always be seen as attractive and feminine, so they have to sit, act and talk in a certain way etc. That is not right either. Everyone should just be themselves, but it doesn´t help when Bill makes it sound as if women and men are two different people. We´re all different.

  • @SmileLyubov Women follow those social rules (which they made up themselves) to attract men. Women need men to survive not the other way around. (Don't take it the wrong way), and men really don't mind taking care of women (we been doing it for years and still today with "welfare, alimony, child support and affirmative action"). If you force men to take care of women (which been going on for the last 30yrs), they will resent women. Men will take care of women naturally, just don't force them

  • @CrazyBrah21 No? The most important thing for women has always been their looks and still is, cause they didn´t have another purpose in society for a long time. "They made up for themselves" That´s just highly insulting. As if women want to spend so much time and effort on their appearance. Yes we do it to attract men, but it´s so important for women cause that´s the only thing we can offer men. While men have been able to get women by having a good job or being strong.

  • @SmileLyubov If looks are the only way we can get Men, that's not Love. That's a rather shallow depressing relationship.

  • @OingoBoingoMe Eh, I didn´t say that..

  • @CrazyBrah21 And forcing men to take care of women with child support and the like? Come on, those laws are there for the children. If a woman don´t have kids she don´t need a man to support her.

  • @SmileLyubov If it's about the children, why don't the government promote strong 2 parent families (which really helps children) instead promoting of single mothers (statically don't do as good of a job than strong 2 parent families). Welfare, alimony and child support all look like they're helping the children, but they don't. All it does is promote single mothers (that hurts children), by pushing the father out of the picture. The system is designed to break up the family.

  • @CrazyBrah21 Not true. They don´t promote of single mothers, but the mothers are usually the ones that get the children when there is a divorce. And don´t think the mother gain much on that. They live very tight.. I grew up with just my mum. We didn´t have much money while my dad who was a big shot in the city was very proud how he paid his child support.. which isn´t as much as you might think. Yes, he´s a selfish pig.

These laws might do harm in some cases but generally they do good.

  • @SmileLyubov You can't see the forest, because of the trees. Not only does the current system promote singlemotherhood, but makes men resent women. I see it in younger men, they ONLY deal with women when they want sex (No serious commitment, No marriage and No babies), Men stand to lose so much if they get serious with a women, so why get serious with a women. When men wake up and see the injustice, women will be in trouble. Sexual liberation is a bad thing and Sluts are the devil.

  • @CrazyBrah21 You´re awfully close-minded.. And no, most men don´t think like that. Defiently not here anyway. I know americans are more conservative and mean but, I highly doubt that´s how american men think.

I´m young, you´re not, so I can tell.

  • @SmileLyubov What "most men don't think like that" mean? you need to explain. Bill is 100% right, this country is a bunch of male wimps, those cowards that are afraid to tell women how they really feel. Men go alone with what ever women do or say, even if it's not in their best interest.

  • @SmileLyubov I don't really have a problem with women, I have an issue, about the new "American male wuss". This new "sensitive" or "style of substance" male is a waste of male, these wimps are afraid to tell their wives or girlfriends "no" because they don't won't to be in the doghouse. Real men don't bend to fit in and are honest to the women in their lives (even if it hurts their feelings).

  • @CrazyBrah21 There´s nothing wrong with sensitive men.. Everyone should be sensitive. It´s intelligent. Your opinion is just really sad.

And male wimps.. Come on, that´s just like there are female sluts. Everyone is different. Both sexes have individuals who behave in a wrong way according to you. But saying most men are wimps is defiently not true. You can´t just see it from your side. There´s always more sides to a man or woman acting that way.

  • @CrazyBrah21 And really, shut up about "real men". That´s by far the most close-minded and conservative thing to say. Real faschism too. You want men and women to act in your way, what you think is the perfect way. And you´re mostly basing it on traditionalism. Which is just dumb.

  • @CrazyBrah21 Just a guess, but most Men aren't the Bread Winners anymore. You sort of lose your CEO position at home when your wife is working like a dog. She ends up being the one in charge of everything. Guess what? If you ask most Women, they don't like the new deal.

  • @CrazyBrah21 I agree that the current trends promote Single Motherhood. Our Society is falling apart. I've had a lot of grief over the years regarding the Male attitude towards Women. It's very sad.

  • @CrazyBrah21 I agree Divorce is encouraged.

  • sorry the recession starts at the end of his 8 years

  • Honesty never got any body laid

  • "Wishful Thinking!" Hmmm... Interesting!

Honestly the one man that has figured out how women think is in some Insane Assylum!

WOMEN WANT EVERYTHING! As long as we keep it that simple we could remain sane! All you have to be is Perfect! I don't think that's too much to ask from a man!

Honestly women want LIARS & as long as you tell them what they wanna hear then they'll live "Happily Ever After!"

  • Richard Lewis is lame.

  • Women cant handle the truth. Its their fault that we need to turn into liars to get laid. Id be perfectly happy if I could be honest about my intentions. But I cant because most women want more and at my age thats ridiculous. I would understand a woman in her late late twenties but not now. However easy lying might be, the stature of a man should be judged by how honest he can be with his intentions and still get laid with any woman. If you can get laid with honesty consistantly, props to you.

  • Richard Lewis should just shut up.

  • You know, there IS a healthy compromise here. Do women want a sensitive man? Of course. Do we necessarily want Sanjaya? No. Most women want a manly man - manly, not a macho pig - who is also sensitive and treats us with respect and not like we're children. One can be manly through his intelligence and creativity, not through his fists and 'Hey, look at the pussy on that chick' attitude. Why is that so hard for men to grasp? If you guys really wanted to get laid, you'd know how to do it.

  • @mermaidofsuburbia It's not hard to grasp. the problem is that we do want to respect you, but how can we respect you if you cant accept it when we want to be honest with you. (instead of just wanting to make you nod) Also, it's all about what you want and very specifically too. Sensitive, but not too sensitive, macho but not too macho.....some guys are very sensitive, some guys are very macho, some guys are inbetween. Keep wishing and we'll keep lying to u and disrespecting u

  • @mermaidofsuburbia

Not Necessarily. So if a guy came out and said look woman I want to have sex (maybe not exactly those words, but similar) a girl would look at him and probably slap him in the face. But if he sweet talked her and broke her down to his level and she agreed, how is that really any different? We're lying to you and you're buying into the garbage. You're accepting the manipulation and when the guy walks out on you all of a sudden all men are trash? Nothing good comes from lying

  • Wow, Bill just spoke for every single man in the world and it was obviously bullshit. This male sex obsession is such a myth.

  • This is sickening. People always paint men out to only care about sex and that is UNTRUE. I am a male and I care about a woman's emotions and sensitivity, and her as a PERSON. Men who exploit women and aren't themselves just to fulfill their sexual desires are cowards.

The media has brainwashed everyone into making stereotypes for men and women alike. Not everyone is the same. I will NOT fall into your sick stereotypes.

  • @PropheticVindicator

u seem sweet :) but I think Bill's talking about men in general, i'm sure he's aware that not all men are the same and want sex but alot of them do (in North America at least). This has been my personal experience also.

  • @vipjan12 Yeah, that is the sad truth. =/ Most males I have interacted with are like that... I just wish people weren't so selfish.

  • @PropheticVindicator me too :)

  • @PropheticVindicator

But thats what a lot of women want. They want the rough and tough guy who is going to manipulate her and play her games. Please tell me im wrong and provide evidence. Im a type of guy who can be a tough guy but I prefer to respect women. Guess how many times ive been laid on respect and treating a woman with dignity? Yup you guessed it, 0! I agree that they are cowards, but they know what women want and they get it. Women need to wise up and stop their bullshit!

  • @claymaker52bt Having a strategy to get a girl to Marry you is the real challenge. I'd be stupid if I slept with every guy that was after getting laid. I stay away from them. I'm actually looking for a relationship and am not interested in using people. Part of the problem is there's so many users out there. Inhumane Men and Women with no feelings. Girls like Macho, but they actually like Men with Heart. Guys who go out getting laid don't have it. They make me sick!

  • a v wise man said women only need to look at how men treat other men to see how they would be treated if things were truely equal.. and guys when was the last time you changed the oil in your buddies car?lols...

  • No one is listening, they keep on interrupting eachother....way to go.....

  • @yogirl515 it's so annoying.

  • 'the womans' job is to take control of the man, the mans' job is to never let it happen."

  • Bottom line. There are men and women. Then there are little boys and little girls. So we all have a 50 50 chance of getting a good one. What really sucks about dating is that there those sneeky men and women who have learned to hide their child like behavior.

  • @PrsFenderJackson1980

you get what you deserve. you want a good one you have to be a good one. you're not going to get the perfect person cause no one is, you get the one that best suits you.

  • this was a stupid episode. everyone just comes off as very stupid. i think most people make concessions for the ones they love, but still remain themselves.

  • Bill is so self absorbed that to take relationship advise from him is just plain stupid. my wife is awesome and does not want me to act like a pussy. She likes skiing, paddling, mountain biking and is hot.

If you find a good woman and stay with her the only thing you miss is the thrill of the conquest. And you will miss that. So what , you gain much more and life is always a trade off of some kind.

  • exactly bill has got it

  • The truth is most women don’t know what the fuck they want, but in reality they want a guy with money, who is faithful, is funny and can make them cum. Basically girls grow up wanting the impossible and end up settling for Joe six pack. We live in a fairytale nation that crumbles before our eyes when we mature

  • this chick is clueless, she hasnt gotten mahers point from the first time he said it.

  • All woman want are big cocks. They don't give a shit about anything else, they're just like men! All they care about is having great sex. That's why nice guys finish last. Because Nice guys don't have big cocks, the bad boys do. That's why they can be bad. Because woman will still want them even though they cheat and they're jerks, Just because they have big cocks! Really the 90% of average guys out there are the victims

  • the supreme court decision was if you want to have a recount you have to count all 67 counties not just the 4 that hore won

  • I do believe Bill is right as well, but when it comes to being able to have a functioning relationship with another human being, there has to be a certain level of compromise, I certainly agree that the "dumb man" cliche is overdone with all these stupid sitcoms, but there will never be a world where people can interact and live together in harmony, it goes both ways, people should always try to make other people nod, in some way.

  • It seems that Richard Lewis was simply a token guest on this show.

  • haha- i think julia is correct... women can be confusing... haha- i don't think i'm smart enough to keep up with their ever changing desires

  • The chauvinism thing has moved the opposite way in recent years I think but not in the work force as much. I will try to make women nod sometimes but not my good friends. They know me all to well.

  • this is filled with SATANIC handsigns

  • Good lord, people make signs when they speak. You make them too. If you talk to anyone in person, that is.

  • @camarosstb Jesus rode a dinosaur.

  • Comment removed

  • id have to say that i agree with Paula most. and i hate how the guys keep interupting her when she is trying to say something!

  • @Cocoabeenut your a fool if you think the development of racism is like sexism. The economic situation for the children is completely different. In racism the societies first evolved separately instead of together. Since men and women need each other in many ways it is fundamentaly a different issue.

  • Elaborate more? I have heard many sides of the racism vs sexism debate.

  • The last part of this clip is so damn telling...

  • Bill never laughed at one of Richard Lewis's comments, . neither did I.

  • Go Bill he shut up that idiot richard lewis

  • LOL . . AMEN

  • Christ I hate that little bitch.

  • The ego on both sides is pathetic and that why relationships and marriage is such a crock. You have assumptions of what you're getting into and you make the problems to be the fault of the gender and not the person. Gay couples have the same damn problems and that creates the understanding that gender plays no role and shouldn't.

  • And besides, men who don't want to make women nod, can easily find some women who don't care, so don't need to be pacified to have sex with them. This whole idea that men are being "oppressed" or something by making women nod is ridiculous. Its even ironic since he recently laughed at the of white men in the government complaining about reverse racism from Barack Obama and Sotomayor. this is the same complaint accept that it is reverse sexism.

  • Sure, everybody should be who they are, but back in the day, when "men were men" women had no rights to refuse what men wanted (part of that being sex). Men "make women nod" in order to pacify them, to get what they want. The fact that women actually need to be pacified to give men what they want is a sign that they have gained more equality to men. Doesn't anyone think this is fair? Or is this just a question of men wanting complete dominance?

  • Basically, we want complete dominance. Honestly, the equality scam didn't work and will never work. We'll simply have to redominate (oooh, how hard THAT will be!).

  • No that means that it has gone to far the other way. because its a different generation of men now being punished for action in the past. Saying that its bad for women to be pacified but good for men to be, is completly sexist.

  • i like richard lewis but he needs to shut the fuck up

  • The most offensive part of this show - the announcer called Nelly a rapper. Just horrible.

  • Bill maher always has his weird biases, then makes it seem like its a gender thing when its not. NO ONE should lie to stay out of the doghouse, EVERYONE should be themselves. Its not rocket science, nor does it require discussing it for an hour with slagged celebrities

  • I like the idea of making that woman next to Richard Lewis nod. Ideally she'll be nodding with her mouth open over my groin ;)

  • i like julia gorin, she's at least being honest

  • "Better to be in the doghouse and be who you are than being a liar."

    HELL YEAH!!!

  • I sure am baked.

  • i want what your smoking. thanks.

  • Do you notice how any of these feminist based Bill Maher discussions have guests who always say the most random things to subvert or change the topic.

  • Bill you actually are already expressing what woman are attracted to. You figured it out now go out and celebrate dude.

  • Bill is absolutely right.. Better to be in the dog house and let you be who you are rather than lie. And in sit coms its true the men are all dumb and the women are awesome.... Ex every body loves raymond, King of Queens.
