  • que efecto usas carnal??? que no logro dar con ell en mi rp70digital

  • como as consegui meter el delay???

  • keep up the good work man!

  • nice Steve Vai signature.

  • What was your f-back set to? sounds a little high, great work on the solo, did you use a dd3 to do it?

  • @TritonvsAtlas Big Sur Moon Sounds better when the feedback is higher.

  • This sounds like the tropical version of big sur moon

  • Check out my Big Sur Moon inspired track at my channel. Its awesome. Not as awesome as this though!

  • OMG great cover! video quality is a little bad but your playing totally makes up for it :D

  • you nailed it :D

  • very nice man u rox

  • i thought it was an Ibanez from the floral inlay, awesome guitar. is it the Vai one though? must of been more than 2 grand if yes!

  • Ibanez is Ibanez :))) nice sound and performance, thumbs up!!!

  • Nice!

  • beast

  • if you dident like it then you dont like buckethead

  • sounds like a sitar when you play the high notes. rad.

  • jem 7v :D nice attempt btw!

  • best cover

    Up from brazil!

  • Very nice

  • too much delay?

    otherwise dude you're too good!

  • @thunderleash that's exactly how the song sounds

  • @thunderleash it's the only (human possible) way to play this song with delay, buckethead also does, and Paul Gilbert (the echo song) also.....but the echo song is better and much more technically advanced....

    but nice cover man;)

  • nice!

  • I hope to be as good as you one day bro.

  • great job. if you could get rid of that static ringing then it would make the video perfect. good enough for me though. nice job and keep up the good work

  • @MetallicaFan349 metallica sucks--------CHILDREN OF BODOM

  • @o00reaper00o we all have our opinions. but children of bodom is amazing

  • well played, effect makes it sound crap though

  • nice cover man :)

  • This is your best attempt? Wow, I'd love to see a second attempt if it's this good the first time.

  • like one of those Martial Arts dub, only not with voice, but music

  • That looks like a Vai Ibanez Jem 770...amirite?

  • It's a delay pedal y2p1988 use that and it will sound better than an echo I've done the same thing as u and used a echo pedal

  • hey just wondering are you using a echo or delay cuz i would like to get that sound. I've used a echo before and they usually trail off at the end where as delays do not cant tell what your using.

  • I am using an RP500 digitech pedal with a delay set at 290ms and like 75 decay I think.

  • nice man

  • thats cuz there is a major echo to make it sound faster

  • good job

  • its called a delay pedal

  • theres a camera delay.

  • Great Man!!

  • u idiot u know why the strings arnt moving? because the strings are muted dick

  • very well done

  • Everyone that thinks it's fake doesn't get the concept of a delay pedal.

C'mon y'all! Watch Buckethead's hands and compare it to this fella, pretty dang close.

  • its real you dumb asses

  • Comment removed

  • Idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • awesome

  • nice cover! which effect did you use?

  • it's delay, the notes get repeated after hitting them

    pretty cool thing ;)

  • I want that guitar so bad lol! Nice playing.

  • mee too ;D it's seteve vai's IBANEZ JEM777

  • nice jem

  • pretty good man 5/5

  • try a slap back delay

  • hey that was pretty good. RSW

  • not bad! keep up the work

  • you should play 4 notes in a second( 1/16) each delayed so it sounds like 8 notes in a sec (1/32)

  • Great work man!

What Delay-Options did you choose for this sound? How many delays aso...? x)

  • amazing

  • Wow nice im learing this song atm, one of my fave songs on guitar ever!"

  • rock on.

  • amazing, you make my ears happy

  • Is that vai signature guitar

  • yeah ive got one in black :D

    ibanez jem

  • Awsome!

  • good job man.

  • i want that same guitar u have sooo bad!!!

  • Isn't that the one Steve Vai uses too?

  • Gr8 job man, im trying to find 'THE RIGHT TAB' as im sure many are, any help with that?

  • dude can you please tell me where you found the tabs? awesome big sur moon rendition by the wayy

  • You do justice to the song. Nice job man.

  • buckethead actually didn't invent it paul gilbert taught it to him and buckethead just added a few parts and named it.

  • That was really cool! Way to go man!

  • what do you use for a delay?

  • that was great man 5*

  • hehe

  • can u? well let's see that video reply

  • its not upstroked is alternating.

  • Wrong, Buckethead plays Big Sur Moon with upstrokes only.

  • Indeed wrong. Buckethead never alternates on this song. Only upstrokes.

  • why do u care a cover is supposed to be your own interpretation u never play it just lkike the artist cos it will never be as good, but seriosly as if u care if he only uses upstrokes whats the big fuckin deal dude?

  • I'm not talking about the video...I'm replying to GuitarPinoy saying that it's alternating. I like the video and I think it's really good, there's no big deal. Just making a point. I'm all about the Cover being your own thing.

  • no worries

  • a great attempt it was... that was really close

  • Sounds great, is that a JEM you have there? Judging by the inlay and handle.

  • thanks alot :D yes thats a jem and its the greatest peace of machinery i have ever used in my life!

  • @shredmastermoose

what makes the JEM so good? Everyone says that but they never say why its so good lol

  • damn, that was awesome!

  • thanks alot man!!

  • Awsome! Could not hear any difference between this one and the original, no kidding! Great job.

  • it sounds a lil bit diffrent i didnt really want it to sound dead on i wanted to make it my own little rendition but i really appreciate the compliment :D

  • great job!

  • Very good!

  • wow very nice job (thumbs up)

  • great job! is that guitar as good as ive read ive heard some good reviews and about how much did you get it for?

  • thanks :D the guitar is by far the most incredible guitar that i have ever playin in all my years of playin. i paid 1600 for it used but i swear it was worth every penny of it!!

  • is it hard to play"/ ?

  • nah its not that bad, you just need to practice the timing thats ultimatly the hardest part but once you get the riff practice then you slowly add a delay and gradually work the speed of the delay faster and vualah!

  • nice ibanez jem how much did it cost

  • 1000Euros ;)

  • best attempet? thats like, an amazing attempt! what effect do you use

  • delay buddy

  • A load of it. I've tried it, but about 20 seconds in my hand just starts moving on it's own, the delay fucks with my head xD

  • The delay here is a bit too much, I think. But its good though. Really good.

  • I'm not sure if the delay is too much, i think the tone is just a little bit off.

But you could definitely be right.

  • I agree. I think the delay is a bit too much.

Otherwise it sounds pretty flawless you did a great job.

  • lol i know man i had a tuff time gettin the timing down myself but after you get used to it its accually fairly easy

  • ............................

  • did you put a chorus pedal over that delay? it sounds sweet.

  • no i acually just have an acoustic simulator, reverb and delay :D its cool to just mess with diffrent things to make a better sound since i couldnt mimik the acual thing

  • sweet, I'll get me on of those to beautify ma playing :D

  • genius......

  • thanks alot! :D

  • dude

how do you get 30k+ views?

  • well, if one of my knex gun videos got 75k veiws, and the other got like 35k, anything is possible.

    go check them for yourself.

  • should i take that as a compliment or ..... lol not sure if you mean like it wasnt good enough for that many or just like woah thats alot good job type thing. thanks?

  • no its a woah

    thats pretty great man

i just wish that i could get 30k+ veiws

because i would say i did pretty good on it

  • in that case :D thanks alot man lol i appreciate it

  • no it´s no fake.. ;-)... i know play it too...it isn´t difficult.. but i long making this effect.... to video..: very nice :-)

  • i made that effect with my cheap ass kit xD

  • That was fantastic! I don't think any attempt could get better than that! What delay are you using?

  • sounds better than buckethead's version in my opinion! :| your guitar: wow.

    haha, well done :D

  • it sounds fake but the fact that u got one of the most expensive ibanez models i believe its real

  • lol somtimes the jem will convince even the slightest doubt

  • wow.....love it.

  • thanks alot i appreciate it!!

  • this is my favourite song by bucket, and you play great. what kind of guitar is that? (love the fretboard)

  • it's an Ibanez Jem the one that Steve Vai uses =)

  • haha sweet bro! im digging the guitar XD good job.

  • Sounds awesome. Great tone

  • This was cool :) Good tune, you have gotten here keep up the good work :)

  • its so good that it sounds fake but it isnt

  • amazing....great job dude ^_^

  • really great man, just curious what effects your using there..??

  • pretty simple really, just used a delay a touch of reverb and an acoustic simulater. took a lil while to find the sound i wanted though. thanks alot for the kind words man i appreciate it!!

  • what delay are you using? Boss, or a different one?

  • nice job sounded like the real thing

  • .. =O i mite prefer this to the original

  • wow man lol i dont know what to say i mean i dont think im as good as the man himself but i really appreciate the kind words very very much!! im hoping to have more vids up very soon so keep in touch and keep checkin in!

  • awsome playin m8 spot on i'd say

  • great job. sounds just like it.

if i can sugest you tweak it a little at around 40 ish. sounds a little off.

  • honestly man i have no idea off the top of my head because all my equipment is at my drummers lol as soon as i find out ill let you konw or you can go back a lil bit in the comments and theres quite a few people who have put in what they use and it does match up to what i have. sorry i wasnt a total help right away but it should tide you over lol thanks for checkin it out

  • how much decay? please?

  • lol!

  • Oh, and the big sur moon.

  • IBANEZ JEM! TREE OF LIFE!

  • hey man great cover..what do you use for your delay? i used my friends delay pedal awhile ago and learned this song, and ive been wanting to play it so bad ever since ahah.

  • ive got a boss gt-6 and its pretty good to use but it just takes a while to tweak the delay to how you want it. if your learning this song my best advice would be to do the delay so that its very slow and just gradually speed it up as you get better at playing the song. the more smooth yyou play the song the faster you can play it. remember, smooth is fast , fast is sloppy

  • thank you for the advice good sir
