@Gr3gZor To be fair, the original Doujin novels of Kara no Kyoukai used haagen-dazs with out any real motivation to do so. Maybe Nasu just likes their ice cream. Or he knew that his novels would be considered so awesome that any anime adapting them would need a humongous budget and included the Haagen-Dazs brand to force the Haagen dazs company to sponsor that anime.
