i wonder if the anti-aliasing is different compared to the method of @font-face. if you use font-face, the result is different from ie to ff for instance. is there a similar effect when using cufon?
@DeLL116 Using CSS only allows you to select from one of the few 'Web Safe' fonts. Font replacement techniques allow you to use any font. There are new techniques in CSS 3 for embedding fonts like @font-face, however they are not fully supported by all browswers. Cufon is cross-platform.
@DeLL116 well for one because firefox seems to suck fucking shit at using @font-face. I've been trying for hours to figure out why it's working on every browser but fuckerfox. it's really pissing me the fuck off which is why im looking at this tutorial.
Thanks for the great tutorial :D Very clear and easy to follow.
Would you consider making a tutorial about how to use sIFR as well? There are hardly any vids about it that I can find, and you guys sound like you know what you're doing!
Thank you guys so much for this tutorial!!!

Thanks guys, great video
Apparently if you use this method to style links, and you want them to change color when in hover state, it can't be done.
Do you know any solution. Does sifr take care of this ?
