@RetroRepair because it has no blast processing. They can't make the perfect remake without blast processing. The DS version (Sonic Classic Collection) also has lag but very little so if you want this game on the go I can tell you that that version is the best OR you can get a Nomad but that isn't too portable

At heart, it's an absolutely great game. No one can turn down a portable Sonic Genesis game... Exceptions include Sonic Genesis GBA, of course. ;)

In reality, it's a rather sloppy game. It has bursts of slow down almost every level, and sometimes sounds miss their cue. They should have kneeded the bugs out of their emulator before they released this game. It's not enough to take away from the Gameplay experience, though.

Recommended buy.

dude totally go for it, for me it doesnt lag. its probably cause he has too many apps or some other dumb reason. its a definite buy though!

THE ONLY ZONES THE SLOW DOWN really EFFECTS YOU IS ON MARBLE ZONE AND LABYRINTH ZONE. THE GAME IS GREAT THE ONLY BAD THING IS ITS ACTUALLY REALLY HARD TO GET FAR B/C NO SAVE

With regards to saving, yes it would be equivalent on 3GS, as its the same game. 3GS may help with some lag however with the faster processor
