That game against the Lakers was Darko at his best. T-Wolves actually have a rock-solid frontcourt now with him, Love, and Beasley. Now if they can just get their backcourt situation settled (convincing Ricky Rubio to come over from Europe wouldn't hurt, lol), they'll be on the right track...

He went to early too the NBA and went to the team where it was obvious that he would not play, and it seems to me that he have a problem with the head. So I think that he would never for fill full potential. Perhaps, to go to a team such as San Antonio, with an excellent coach and Tim Duncan, to find some peace, listen, learn, and that in a few years become what he is supposed to be, one of the best centers in the world. But maybe is too late for that.

Continue watching the Wolves play. Darko playing like a franchise player and took Duncan to school throughout the game, but especially down the wire. Made an impressive fadeaway with 55 seconds left in the 4th and had a crazy crossover vs. TD.

...he's a headcase with a good heart (did you know he donated 100K last summer for some kids to get operated in Russia?) and he is at 40% of his potential given his skills, length, height and feel for the game. We need him bad in the Serbian national team where he would pair up tremendously with Nenad Krstic with his defense and passing. To Rambis - give him half an hour a night and see what happens. It can't be bad, he'll at least give you defense...

To nije tacno,siris neistine. Darko je sam odlucio da ne igra na zadnja 2 prvenstva. Na EP zato sto je "izgubio takmicarski duh" a na SP jel mu je Minesota trazila da ostane tamo i sprema se za novu sezonu. Inace je bio na sirem spisku oba puta,tj. tri puta ako racunamo i kvalifikacije za EP koje nije igrao zbog povrede.

I have been waiting for signs of consistency from this guy for more than half a decade now. He has matured, but he obviously needs at least half an hour per night and some touches, which is not going to happen with Love returning on his usual level. If he could average 12/10/3 he would be solid, but until then, this is just an exception to the rule of him dissapearing for long stretches of the season, with occasional bursts. He had a troubled upbringing in the NBA...
