love this song :)
i think it's GD reflecting on the whole journey to stardom and how it all started. that things aren't quite what they seem in the life of a celebrity, remembering that boy and not losing sight of the dreams he had back then. there's also the feeling of wanting to go back, and recognizing that now's his time to shine.

@vah2896 i think BigBang is still a group. By letting the members work on songs by themselves or with just two of them together, they can express their talents better. I think its really smart to do it that way.

In my opinion, when you write a song about such a matter, it is normal that you might find some similarities with other songs.I mean, honestly when it comes to the topic G-dragon talks about in his song (the feeling of pressure and such stuff) I myself recognise myself in the song. So as for plagiarism people should define what they hear by plagiarism. And I don't think he regrets the past years maybe it's just that he is a bit tired. But after all I don't know anything...

@smiletotheworld255 I know what you mean, I was listening to Flo's Right Round... but the only similarity i found was some of the rhythm of the rap... As for "Butterfly" and Oasis's "She's Electric" I couldn't hear anything similar... the flow could be the same but the instrumental part and lyrics where way different from what I could hear!

GD did write the lyrics!! He wrote the lyrics for all of his songs in his solo album. I have his album jacket to prove it. Besides, 'boy' is all about GD and how he came this far since he was 13 pursuing his dream!!

if you want to borrow a beat, a melody that is derivative from an artist, you HAVE TO PAY. It's called the law.
Unfortunately, GD claimed it was all his own, unlike everyone else who hasn't been accused. Whether he is cute, hot, talented whatever, he still plagiarised.
Plagiarism isn't as vague as universal questions about original. It's a crime and if you're caught, you pay up.

copyright infringement is when someone decides to reproduce and sell someone else's work, not claim it as their own. e.g. music piracy.
GD definitely did not do that. He plagiarised. reworked music that is not his own, into his songs. he's not illegally selling florida.
