I'll point out that the most important part of this hearing occurs at 34 min when Mike Connor the commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation (the guys who operate the dam) speaks. His 5 min presentation was clear and to the point with no editorializing or politicizing. It is refreshing to hear such a level headed and intelligent person at the head of one of the countries most important bureaucracies. He was against this bill!

America does not have time for these senseless hearings.... we are BANKRUPT(thanks to the very smart people we have elected over the years), our country is teetering on the edge. STOP freaking playing the same old games and do your J-O-B

@mcap52 these hearings are an attempt to fix the damage done that has devastated the agriculture industry in the central valley. The central valley in california accounts for 8% of the nation's ag output. Every worker picking crops in the field generates an additional 4 jobs. I'm sorry you think attempting to get jobs back on track is a waste of time.
