All that data is, is the amount of times the terms have been searched. Tags on Youtube videos are often times put there even if they're not even directly related to the tag (putting Ron Paul in the tags of a video about inflation, for example).
Google by searches as well. People search for Ron Paul more than the other candidates; doesn't necessarily equate to popularity, and if those did represent votes, Paul would have won anyway.
And before I get buried with hater comments, I'm a Ron Paul supporter too. I just think there should be some honesty here, since number of searches doesn't correlate directly with support or votes.
There should still be an outrage over the lack of media coverage, though; that's for sure.

It also shows that when people are allowed to discuss amongst themselve they make very different choices then the MSM makes. Another thing the chart demonstrates is that Ron Paul got virtually no coverage until his peak internet interest.
The media was forced to cover him because of his internet popularity.
The internet population made the media notice of Ron Paul, whereas the media made the internet population notice Obama.
