I am no longer in the USMC, thus..."former" Marine, yet I AM in the Louisiana NG & will be deploying again to Iraq, this time as a Medic, so I HAVE done & CONTINUE to do my part. Did you not think that by committing to an elistment in the Armed Services that there would be an element of danger involved....like going to a WAR ZONE. Are you that stupid? They are via petitions. Glenn Becks show for example is about to be taken off the air he has lost well over 30 of his advertisers to date... :) The best thing we can all do is turn them off.

It's not the best thing because they all still have radio shows as well. The right wing extremists went to democratic districts to use quasi terrorist tactics to try to intimidate people, they got ALL of the attention. Being nice and sweet doesn't work, I'm not advocating acting like the right wing extremists, but there HAS to be a way to fight back in conjunction with boycotts.

The fact is them getting all the attention for this stuff has been great.. I know several people who used to vote republican that will not do so in the future because of all the crap they have been pulling. Especially the elderly. They do not like being lied to and shouted down. I myself will admit that in the past I have even voted republican but I will never do it again. You would be surprised. What we need to do is continue to tell the truth. Once people are informed they support it.

I absolutely agree pseudolover, us democrats CLEARLY aren't fighting back as hard as we should be against the right wing loons.
I myself am a fighter for the things I care for, and I sure as hell won't go down without a fight for Health Care reform.
What Obama needs to do is fight in a more aggressive way, he needs to take a more assertive approach at Health reform and start talking with a more aggressive tone.
