@Day1923 this isn't the grand armée, this video is from waterloo, there were 2 grand armées, 1805-07 and russian campaign, this army from the 100 days, though well spirited, were mostly kids and elder people, the great veterans had almost all died and the ones who still lived with both arms and legs were in the imperial guard ,so, no possible comparation in quality!!!
Imagine you were a peasant who lived within 500 yards of these guys. You are so screwed. They are going to take everything that isn't nailed down and nail anything that isn't. They "lived off the land".
