  • you stupid teachers! u are there to teach a class! not to act as doctors.

  • agreed. we are not lab rats either, that's all these schools want, is perfect control. so the way they achieve it, is by use of psychiatric drugs i call brain poisons. and this disorder shit? is it maybe that demons are involved CAUSING these disorders? if i were a priest, which im not, i would at least try to perform the roman ritual rite of exorcism FIRST before resorting to drugs. you guys are so stupid. drugs are NOT the way to go about any of this crap at all!

  • Another misunderstanding in this video, is that the DSM is there mainly to contribute to the selling of psychiatric drugs. There are allot of disorders that are not treated by medicine in the DSM, like autism ( one of the most common disorders ) , learning disabilties, some personality disorders. All of these do not require medicine as treatment. This documantary is full of misunderstandings

  • Besides DSM isnt all crap, although it includes some way too comon bundels of symptoms that arent worth calling a disorder, just like theres a diagnose for just peeing in bed. Ive read te book and it makes sense

  • This part of the documentary makes no sense. Its normal if your diagnose hangs between bipolair disorder and AD(H)D. These two disorders, although very different in nature, have many similiar symptoms.

  • They gave me many different pills, including Zyprexa, and none of this shit helped me, I just got weight from taking it. As I stopped taking it, my condition got much better, and I feel much better now. No bloody doctor managed to convince me that such shit can heal my depression. I trusted myself and I didn't make mistake, the only mistake I did was to think that those jerks were right.

  • @GothicPrinzessin But that doesn't mean those pills don't work. Of course there are always people who suffer more from the sideeffects tthen they benefit from the normal effects of the drug. I took anti-depressants (citalopram) and it really helped me. my mom has bipolair disorder 2, meaning she has extreme moodchanges, but no so severe she turns psychotic. She now has a medicine that is really helping her. Medications arent that bad at all

  • @tommyXBOX360

Yeah, some of them may help, but those which are used in treating bipolar disorder can be dangerous as well, since they contain lithium which can make women infertile. That's why I refused to take it, since I want to have children someday. But generally speaking, I don't trust pills, they never helped me, but a shrink did, and thanks to him I feel much better today.

  • @GothicPrinzessin Well not all of then contain Lithium. The main drug for regulating extreem moodchanges is Lithiumcarbonate which could cause kidney stones (and since my bipolair mom only has one kidney she cannot take the medicine), I didnt know i could also cause infertility though. Other drugs used to treat bipolair disorder are atypical anti-psychotics like seroquel, anti-neuroleptics like carbamazapine and many more. Its true they have some serious side effects.

  • @tommyXBOX360

Thanks for the advice, sometimes it's not easy to cope with this disorder, especially when I have episodes of severe depression when I star considering suicide as an option, but now I really feel better, in fact I haven't been depressed for a couple of months now. I hope my condition won't get worse again. I've been suffering from this disorder ever since I was 17 and I'm 24 now so living with it became normal to me.

  • Btw, good luck with coping with bipolair disorder. I know my mom and it can be a real pain in the ass to have such mood changes all the time. if you are still suffering from severe moodchanges, I would suggest the medicine my mom takes now (abylyfai << spelled totally wrong) its a real good pill with not to many sideeffects. Other than taking medicine applying structure and finding out the cause of the moodchanges (stressors), if there are any, could realy help you cope better

  • I take prozac.. and I'm just fine...so yeah...

  • @InfectedTalent Me too. Actually, I take a generic brand, but it's the same thing.

  • it seems very dificuly to prove them scientificaly, cause, as we all know, science always rely on enclosing knowledge in well defined specific and controlled environments, in the case of normal people living normal lifes it seems to be imposible to make psycological test in a controled environment, so it would be dificult to sostain any theory.

  • @shagamanx2000 and as it is a science that tries to model theenvironment, it can not be proved just by its own logic validity, you can have a correct logic in a theory, but if its based on false asumptions..(excuse my english )

  • Yay! =)

  • The Propaganda film rolls on... so the Pharmaceuticals Companies "controls the doctors" and comes up with "invented disorders" Give me a break, if the drugs did not work people WOULD NOT USE THEM. People don't pay a high co-pays for drugs if they don't improve quality of life.

  • @Demandread1

People take them because they TRUST the doctors and the doctors CONVINCE them that they need these medications.

  • @dizzymissy13

Are you on drugs yourself? When a patient is having a clinical condition that is affecting their lives, they seek out a doctor on their own free will, tell that physician about their problems and then receive treatment. I PROMISE you that no one is forcing psych patients to take these medications against their will... do you really think that millions of people taking these drugs would do so if they did not improve their quality of life?

  • @Demandread1 Finally a sane person! :-) I love it when these ignoramuses snarl at us...

Read DSM IV-TR, everyone - the diagnostic manual you should be reading if you want to understand the subject you are so outspoken about. And if one thinks that he can create a better one- go ahead, go to university, study psych and medicine and help change the world, instead of posting ignorant videos and complaining. These ignoramuses will never do that, it's easier to be in a paranoid state and whine :-)

  • @dizzymissy13 So if the doctor convinces you to take the medicine and it doesnt work, what then? You dont take em anymore then. This documantary shows some good points about the flaws of modern day psychiatry. But it isnt like all medicines are bad and do not help and its definately not entirely true that diagnoses dont make any sense

  • @Demandread1 Let them freak out. I think it's hilarious that so many people believe this.

  • You are so ignorant. When they control the soul it will be to late you stupid retards

  • I took trazadone, and it tranquilized me.

  • this bad

  • You don't have anything better to do, you know that?
