Love it !! I'm heading up to that area next weekend ! Hope to be as lucky (skilled) as you ! Although i'm not sure if the ice is out yet . . . would you know any places for Brookies ?
@88bonk88 Excellent. That area is gorgeous! I honestly don't know enough about brook fishing. So I can't suggest anything helpful. But we've always had great luck (skill) on Tim Lake catching lakers.
@supercanadiandude No worries, I just realized that Tim is on the West side, (I always come in at the East Gate). I might have to wait until later in the season to drive across. When I do, i'll be asking for some tips =) Happy Fishing !!
enjoy it while you can one day when the pike swim up the river into craig lake you can kiss the beatiful trout fishing good bye and the real sad thing is the MNR dumped the pike in, now i dont have a college degree but its not rocket science brook trout n pike do not coexist, it just goes to show you can have a degree in whatever n still be a dumb fuck out in the bush enjoy it while you can cuz our secret spec lakes will turn into stupid pike lakes thanks to the MNR
Hi dude just watched your video on Algonquin fishing, its the best one that i have seen yet!! So we are going to camp at Opeongo lake/Algonquin in about 5 days, any tips on fishing? Location, lures, fishing methods ect…? It would be much appreciated
I tried sending you a message but i guess you have your friend block activated
You should think about removing the lake name from the video. Otherwise there will be 200 ppl there with u next season

you know there is a ban on live baitfish. worms, leeches and shrimp are fine. its the invasive species baitfish that causes the problem.
mrmints84 4 months ago
@mrmints84 Really? Does the ban include frozen minnows? What problem occurs from using dead frozen minnows?
supercanadiandude 4 months ago
@supercanadiandude The MNR just states LIVE baitfish. check out the algonquin website for any more info

I thought live bait wasnt allowed in Algonquin Park?
kirokyukan 1 year ago
@kirokyukan i don't think it is allowed. we were using frozen minnows.
supercanadiandude 1 year ago
@supercanadiandude LIVE bait isn't, I think...and I think they ARE moving to being lure-exclusive.
