Correlation between solar activity and temperature ended around 1975. At that point, temperatures rose while solar activity stayed level. Check out the site "skepticalscience" for insightful eleborations on all so called arguments from deniers.

Sound I'll look into that, I'm skeptical of this whole clobal warmig issue though because it's been highjacked by politicians so they can introduce this carbon tax which is obviously just a tax for making the government money. If they were really interested in ending carbon emissions then they'd be pushing for people to get off the grid and start powering their homes with solar or other clean renewable energy sources

I think a carbon tax is actually a pretty good idea if, say, you replace another tax with it. Then by cutting carbon you actually stand to gain money rather than lose it. There's an awful lot of taxes that we HAVE to pay, but a carbon tax doesn't need to be paid; you just need to stop wasting energy. Drive less, switch off lights you're not using, etc.

Ok, but you should know that a carbon tax would not actually solve the problem and it is an extremely biased way o deal with it. It basically means that the poorer people will have to drastically change the way they live while the richer people's lives will go relatively unchanged. It's a truly stupid idea and you should think about the implications more. There are hundreds of ways to reduce carbon emissions and taxing people is the most ineffective way to do it

No, people don't seem to realize what a delicate balance "our" planets conditions are.

The moon has a dramatic affect on it, as well, and the ozone layer, and all the rotations and distances in our solar system. All of it is intertwined with sustaining our unique environment. Us pumping lots of CO2 into the air could, and is, tip(ping) this balance.

Yes. And satelite pictures of a melting north pole and glaciers are all photoshopped or painted. News of mudslides in the Alpes are made up. Melting of the permafrost just imagination. The ecosystem is very complex and parts of this world indeed get colder. Ever heard of streams in the oceans?

I went to see this great film and came out exactly as I should have: angry, furious, raging...

I found I didn't care about us, but I grieved for the billions upon billions of blameless plants, insects and animals, each struggling, doing its very best to stay alive, breed, evolve.

We fit that profile in the abstract sense, only because of the way we behave. It doesn't need to be that way.

And therefore, the solution is not for there to be fewer people, necessarily. It is for us to change our ways.  The Zeitgeist Movement, among other inspiring movements, are offering some exciting solutions; NONE of which involve population reduction, as though we are just naturally a plague on this planet.

In a way we are a problem for this world. But the thing is to accept that fact and evolve to a better "human". And yes there are many stupid humans that only care for their own well-being. So if you 'd like to reduce the population, maybe start with those people and see if it will bring a solution?
