  • The Joker. Had the purple coat, the make up, smile, all of it. I eve nscared away a little girl by looking at her.

  • back half of horse.

  • I was a robot for Halloween when I was 8 or 9. It was a huge paper bag that I glued tinfoil to, and then I had some kind of piping on my arms. I made it myself, and it was the best costume ever.

I also was one of the Bananas in Pajamas, but I was, like, 3 or 4 and I don't really remember it.

  • I was an emo fairy once.

  • First off, I'm a girl, but for my senior year in high school I was Frodo Baggins. I looked AMAZING. I had the ring, the waistcoat, the jacket, the pants, a scruffy wig, the bare feet, I even had Sting! I thought I looked just like him, but people could only tell what I was when I knelt down. :P

  • Charlie Chaplin :)

  • Near from death note

  • true

the sound is the big magic trick.

  • I've gotta say my favourite costume was Halloween '09. I was a cloud in a very avante garde form-fitting dress that I constructed entirely out of clear duct tape and bubble wrap.

  • This year I went as a Zombie Pimp. All the rest of my friends went as zombies. Yeah.

  • i was an ostrich jokey. yeah. i was a person, riding and ostrich. just this year.

or the princess laya costume my aunt made. :)

  • there are a few. one year I was Santa. one year I was an I-pod and I was a Rubik's cube.

  • My favorite Halloween costume that I've worn would be this year's. For the past couple of years I've just worn this outfit I got at the Renaissance festival and my sister's cape. But this year she took the cape, and it was too cold to just wear the outfit, so I made a Steampunk outfit out of it. I wore a bowler hat with green goggles, and I found this giant leather coat that went all the way to the ground in the back of my mother's closet. I looked pretty awesome.

  • @DarkroseAlchemist

that sound amazing! i wana c it!

  • A weird little creature I created called Tentacle Man. I ruled over all of Halloween with his magnetic power!!! He was just me with a jumper on over my head and a couple of rolled up towels in the sleeves. Unfortunately, seeing as I live in Australia, no body came. Oh, well. He was very cool though.

  • Spike Spiegal still rocks! Good job(again) on that costume.

    See you Space Cowboy!

  • My favourite was last year. I went as a keep left sign (from the monty python skit)

  • Kanye West.... i hate him so much, and yet it was so funny.

  • Marilyn Monroe (oh yeah) It was so much fun, though I looked a little odd blonde!

  • FUCK IT! Stop with the updates and gimme some episodes!

  • Why all the updates! Give us the episodes!

  • Gandhi

  • My most favorite Halloween Costume was Tron. From the 1982 original. I made it all myself from stuff I bought the day before Halloween at Walmart. A white sweatshirt, painted with metallic blue paint, a skateboard helmet spray-painted white with metallic blue design lines, shin guards fitted to my arms also painted white with metallic blue lines, and white gloves. all done in 5 hours on Halloween day. I'm tempted to make a video response just to show it off.

  • @shadecnrk

    that would be pretty cool.

  • @shadecnrk please do! (and hopefully I'll remember to come back to this vid and watch the response lol)

  • @shadecnrk

    do it! i wana c!

  • I'm a bit old for halloween costumes, but my son dressed up as Shaun of the Dead.

  • zombie

    u got to love zomie's

  • harry potter

  • a few years ago when I was 12 or 13 years old i dressed up as an old man and a hammer. People thought i was actually a murderer. XD

  • 3 headed demon type thing with an alien head a zombie ehad and a vampire head

  • I really like the costume I wore this year: Super Ninja.

  • It would have to be this year, I went as the Greek goddess Persphone and I had flowers and a pomagranite,

  • washing machine!!! ftw.

  • This year I went as a Wallflower. I got my sister to draw a big colorful flower over a brick wall background on a white t shirt.

  • I was a paint brush

  • silence of the lambs

  • Well I didn't wear the costume yet, but next year I will be going as Link from the legend of Zelda and I'm preparing early, I already have a few things for it but I think I'm going to have to make the tunic and the hat, but I believe that will be the best costume ever =]

  • I was Antoine dodson this year that was good. Except I was an emo kid a few years back. I spent like $100 for the getup from help of my lil bros emo friends. I had a few girls work on my makeup. I had a diary of intricate similes related to death and suffering made by my English major friend. A lot of work. Found out I got more numbers when I was emo than not. Weird.

  • i thought update 35 was hilarious and very entertaining!

  • Dragon-human hybrid. I wore small stilts and a beautiful leather headpeace. This was before WotC came up wth Dragonborn, but if I wore it today, that's probably what I'd call it. I still have the mask.

  • this year i was kesha. it was awesome . i am most pround of the one where i was a little kid and i was piglet... yeah :P

  • I was a dark faery, although I took my little brother, a dragonsaur, trick-or-treating. He got the most candy out of all my friends and my other brother's friends.

  • lol my costume past is not very colorful

    i was a flower when I was 4

    Scooby-doo from 5-9

    a cowgirl from 10-12

    A Hogwarts student at 13 and 15

    a Beatle at 14

and a space outlaw (fireflyesque) at 16

  • My Halloween costume for this year was my all time favorite! I went as Marty McFly! :D

Unfortunately, I could not procure a hoverboard, but other than that, my costume was pretty spot on!

  • Fred Flinstone, when I was a toddler. I loved that costume

  • I am so disappointed that Keanu Reeves is playing Spike Spiegl in the live action cowboy bebop film. If it happens. Which it probably will. They just love Keanu in Japan. And America.

  • This year I went as Craig in a hot dog suit. Drawn-on beard and all.

  • were would you advise getting punching ad swooshing sounds outside of the final cut pro package?

  • @morelikeyourface

it all depends on if you like their punching and swooshing sounds. i just use theirs but i layer them like crazy

  • Blinky the red pac-man goast

  • We do not have Hallowe'en in Australia.

Therefore, by default, jeans and a tshirt. But it was a really great tshirt.

  • I think it was when I was three and I was Po the Red Teletubby...

I never had very many good costumes as a kid or now...

  • Zombie girl scout! Anything zombie is awesome. :D

  • when i was in eleventh grade i dressed up as Link. that was pretty awesome.

but i also dressed up as House in ninth grade, and that was equally awesome. :D

  • @pineappleboyfilms ARE YOU EVERY GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER GREEN'S NUSERY

  • @TheJamesawesome

no. but it's awesome that you watched that!

  • @pineappleboyfilms are you saying that you didn't expect that after finding you everyone would seek out everything you'd ever done ever? That's what I expect people to do.

  • @ThyBoyd

you're one of the coolest ones.

  • A few years ago I went out as anakin skywalker. I even made my own lightsaber and put small magnets in the fingertips of my gloves. It rocked.

Ths year I was a Chilean miner (Though I now wish I had gone for chilean MIMER) and also as Tuxedo Mask.

  • I went as Napoleon Dynamite one year, but it was kind of awkward since I'm a girl and the wig made me look very strange... But it was fun to act like the character. Having an excuse for acting like a doofus is always great.

  • hobo. THIS YEAR

  • I loved wearing my Sweeney Todd costume

  • taxi driver

  • I made a homemade costume consisting of a White shirt drenched in blood with knife ends sticking out of it :)

  • I was a procrastinator for Halloween... I never got round to making it. :P

  • I've never dressed up for Halloween, but I have a friend from the Netherlands who was trying to figure out what to dress up as for a party he was going to. I told him just to get a pair of wings. He asked why and I said, "You'll be the flying dutchman." He laughed. :)

  • Blue man group

  • WHEN WILL IT BE DONE!!!!!!!!!!

  • One year I dressed up as a ghost. I literally just put a big sheet over my head (and not even a terribly good one). It was the laziest costume I've ever put together, but it was still really cool and fun.

  • last year i went as a steampunk engineer which took a lot of effort and i was proud of. this year i was ramona flowers and it was a lot simpler but i felt really good in it and i feel like i looked a lot like her. it's probably a tie.

  • Boomer from Battlestar Galactica, first costume I've ever had where being Asian didn't make it look weird :)

  • mad hatter. this year. looked pretty good.

  • link:) from legend of zelda. it was epic.

  • WAYNE from Wayne's World. I have seen that movie well over 50 times.

  • I went as a cereal killer. Yep you read it right. I had a bunch of those little cereal boxes and stabbed them with a plastic knife. I put them on my body and put glue to look like milk or blood coming out

  • A couple of years ago I was a road. I had a black dress and put yellow stripes down the middle with hotwheels sewn down each side of the road. That one was quite fun :D

  • None, I've never celebrated halloween nor did I ever want to/ or have liked to celebrate it.

Does None count as an answer?

  • @TheSickness14

it sure does, Sickness. it sure does.

  • You looking forward to the Hunger Games movie that starts production in 2012?

  • @EaAddict360

    i can't wait.

  • When I was 16 I went as Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd, and I had a bloody rolling pin and did my hair up all messy, and went around asking people if they wanted meat pies, and if they said no, I would ask if they wanted to be IN a meat pie, and threateningly swing my rolling pin at them.

Ah yes, there was much cackling and singing of morbid songs on that night.

  • My favorite is the one I wore yesterday, I cut arm holes and a head hole out of a trash bag and I called myself white trash.

  • I was a cigar smoking, beer drinking nun last year. I got many a laugh considering I'm 6'4 and 300 lbs.

  • I was Cher as Cleopatra, and it rocked \m/(>.<)\m/

  • Probably when I went as V from V for Vendetta. But I didn't have any knives.

  • In Grade 9, I dressed up as a skeleton. Fairly simple, a skeleton mask (the kind glued to the face) with a black hoody hiding ears, etc. Then changed the porch light to a black light, put out a chair, and sat down there, with a bowl of candy, pretending to be a dummy that was left out with candy for the local kids.

Then, as they reached for the bowl, I moved, "want some caaaaandy?"

Scared so many kids, including a girl from my grade. Screamed loud enough to be heard all over the neighbourhood

  • This year i was the 11th Dcotor from Doctor Who.

  • Aw, why did you delete update 35? I thought it was funny.

My best costume isn't all that great. I dressed up as Gambit from the X-Men one year as a kid. Just a trenchcoat, a broom handle for the staff, and a bandana. Not a great costume, but the one I remember and enjoyed the most. Plus, it was comfortable.

  • Me and three of my friends went as the Ninja Turtles one year. We upholstered shells and everything.

We're all music-types, so we learned the whole theme song in 4-part harmony... it was awesome...

  • I was Harpo marx in 4th grade. :)

  • I can't remember one single halloween costume I've worn.

  • this year I made a cardboard spaceship like one of those cardboard cars that you have as a kid that you wear on rope over your shoulder. My husband went as my astronaut in a painter's suit covered in white duct tape. it was probably my crowning Halloween achievement.

  • It was a rehash of a cosplay outfit. Nicholas D. Wolfwood of Trigun fame. I had the best damn cross ever, because I actually researched a ton into what fabrics and bindings to use and went way too overboard with it. My favorite part was when a random teenage noticed who I was and just looked awestruck like he saw a celebrity. Oh, good times.

  • They don't have hallowe'en in Australia ):

  • I've just started playing the game 'Silent Hill 3', which is a lot like a film. The most awesome part of the game that makes it really creepy is the sound effects; without them it just wouldn't be as good. I started playing last night on Hallowe'en and had to go out to a deserted shopping centre in the middle of it - which is the same setting as the start of the game. There were church bells and loud firework bangs, and other strange noises while I was out. It was very creepy, great atmosphere.

  • a cardboard awesome epic cardboard costume robot!!!

  • the inanimate carbon rod from the simpsons :D

  • this year i was a dalek...exterminate! I was really proud of it because i made the costume myself =D I love these updates, but i think that's more to do with how i love behind the scenes just as much as what goes on the screen, but also how awesome you are XD

  • Last year (and this year) I went as Rorschach from Watchmen - home made mask that looked totally real, i loved it - Trench coat, hat and all!

  • I was a ventriloquist's doll 2 years ago, and that costume was amazing. It had the perfect balance of creepy and pristine. But the make-up really did it, i looked like a porceline doll who's face had been dirtied and cracked. There were kids hiding from me when they saw me. It was amazing.

  • ...I went as a Cereal Killer once.

I wore cereal boxes with knives stuck into them with tons of blood dripping down them.

  • This year was my favorite; I dressed as Dr. Horrible :D

  • when i was four my mom dressed me as a black cat, and my two year old brother as a lion.

    it was hilarious.

  • I think I'm most proud of this years costume as I went for a versatile a costume as possible. I did a steam punk air pilot, and I can change it various ways to make it more pirate-y, or various types of steam punk such as a more dressed up attire or dirty been working all day etc etc...it all centers around the assortment of shirts and goggles and weapons I have around my room and a really nice leather jacket.

  • I put together a pirate wench costume in college that was pretty awesome. My husband keeps a picture of us from that party in his wallet. =)

  • my own knitted superhero costume

  • sadly, no joke, an penis was my best costume

  • Last year was my far the best halloween costume I ever put together. I got cardboard boxes, that weird metalish piping that goes on the back of washing machines, a bunch of silver spray paint, and was the most badass homemade robot you've EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE

  • My last year of trick or treating I went in full drag.lol

  • i went this year as ODLAW the wheres wally victim pretty happy with that

  • When I was in elementary school, I won a costume contest for dressing up as Jasmine (from Disney's Aladdin), so I definitely have fond memories of that one. In more recent memory, though, I had a lot of fun using a prosthetic nose and ears and cool makeup tricks to go as a troll.

Also: you haven't read the LotR books!?!? Please tell me you've at least read The Hobbit!

  • @eruanna317

nope, never read the hobbit either. i know. i'm awful.

  • I kinda liked this year's.

I was a generic Victorian-Era person. I made myself a bustle, and wore a white dress that is a few decades older than I am, rucked it up in places, and I wore a skirt under it. curled my hair, wore my grandmother's pearls and some heels :D

    It was awesome.

  • i went as J-mann from mushroomhead once.

  • My costume this year, a Plague Doctor that I put together myself, is my favorite so far.

  • On the princess Bride thing, I feel the same way about Howl's moving castle. Miazaki is a MASTER, but the book is almost totally different, yet still quite enjoyable.

  • I am the most proud of my Dr. Horrible costume this year. It was so mu8ch fun to answer "Who are you" with "I'm Dr. Horrible, I have a PhD in Horribleness" :D

  • charlie chaplin.

not gonna lie, i kinda wound up looking like a spiffy Hitler, but that wasn't my fault...

  • Since when is Spike Spiegel's hair green?

  • @MeTheOneth

that's what i said! until i started looking at tons of reference and then REALLY looking at it and, yep...green.

  • @pineappleboyfilms Do you think you could put up a link to some of these references? This is something I've got to see.

  • @MeTheOneth

just search for pictures of spike spiegel, yo. anything that's not super shadowy, you should be able to see it if your monitor is color accurate.

  • Ron Burgandy... nuff said.

  • I was death at a funeral. It took me five minutes to put together but it looked so awesome.

  • Scarecrow. That was my favorite costume. I wore it for three straight years. Scarecrow was frmo an old Disney series. what fun

  • My friend and I made an ipod costume. It was fun to build and paint it, and it looked PRETTY kickass. Similiarly, once I was a vending machine. With actual candy.

  • I just had a P90 sub machine gun made out of gaff/ duct tape that I had for when I was giving out candy :P

  • I was leonardo from TMNT I cut up a kiddie costume and pasted it on top of a green tee shirt. Then painted a blue mask on my face. So proud

  • My friends and I were a roller coaster last year. :)

  • Princess Leia

  • @townsofpaper

Hope you are a girl :P

  • @Nogarf I am.

  • @townsofpaper Whew, I can get the idea of a old bearded man disguised in Leia off my head :P

  • Quail Man from the TV show Doug

  • luigi..so many high fives XP

  • I was a robot from the Flight of the Conchords "robot" song last year. I made it out of cardboard like they did.

  • I was a pink breast cancer support fairy two years ago.

That was fun, but the giant foam wig was too warm on my head.

    This year I was a kitty-kat.

  • Hanatoro from Bleach

  • this year i was quailman.

  • The costume I've been most proud of/enjoyed the most is this years one. I dressed up as Marty McFly, it was something unique and I really liked how some people would come up and tell me to go back to the future!

  • Ron Weasley!

  • I was a red state in 2008, election year. I'm not kidding, I was wearing this spandex suit that was a sort of bag with an opening in the middle. I could see out of it, but people couldn't see me. People would ask, " what are you?" and I would say " A red state!" then I would run away with my candy screaming, "MCCAIN!!!"

  • Vampire until i actually started bitting people.... then it got weird :(

  • Both Holes and Fight Club I totally agree with. Fight Club is definitely one of my all time favourites. Just saw Unbreakable the other day, FANTASTIC!!!

  • It's a tie between the last two years of Halloween. It was my Junior and Senior years of high school and I went all out both years when I went to school in my costume. My Junior year I went as Cosmo from the Fairly Odd Parents, and my Senior year I went as Flapjack, from the Marvelous Misadventures of. They were both fabulous. I can't decide which I liked better.

This year I went as Double D, not as good as the last two, but still so good.

  • um a teddy bear when i was 3

  • Alex mercer from prototype

  • Some friends and I went as Mario, Luigi, and Peach (I was Mario) this year.I'm definitely proud of this year, we had ? Blocks and everything.

  • Two years ago I went as Two-face, it was awesome.

  • This year's would be my favorite, I went as Alice Cooper.

  • :( i liked update 35

  • This year I went as the Tenth Doctor, It wasnt that good, but it was my best so far :D

  • this year i was riff raff and i made my own hair wig. that was cool, but last year i was captain jack harkness. i have to say i was the proudest of that.

  • I went as Mark Zuckerberg and my 3 other friends went as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Biz Stone

  • The one im building right now for next year. It's a mau5head that plays music from the ears.

  • When I was maybe eight I was a Power Ranger along with my two friends.

  • i went as a borg in grade five, the costume was all home made(but probably not by me). one that i personaly made would be wen i went as a demonic knight were i made my oun sheld and helmet(coming up second would be wen i was a gangster with cememt overshews, i made the over shews myself).

  • Princess bride book was great, yeah. both amazing = fair enough, lol.

i just still really like the movie 'cos of the memories i have attatched with it. *biased*

..after 3 years i still often answer my girlfriend with "as you wish" n.n haha.

  • I feel exactly the same way about The Prestige. I LOVE both Chris Nolan's movie, and Christopher Priest's novel on which it was based, but they're REALLY different. I can't say either of them is better or worse -- they're just both brilliant.

  • I remember when I was in elementary school, before I knew anything sexual... I dressed up as what I called a hooker. Had no idea what it was but I heard the word somewhere before but I liked it so I dressed up as what I thought a hooker looked liked. in high school I figured it out and felt like a stupid dumbass >_<

  • As I don't celebrate Halloween, I shall say my best costume ever, which is a choice of two. One was Radagast the brown and the other was a L4D hunter, both of which turned out well.

  • I was Captain Hammer. It was great, because nobody knew who I was, and since I'm a lady they got very confused when I explained that the hammer was my penis.

  • @LeaveItToPsmith "These...are not the Hammer. The Hammer...is...my penis."

  • This year I bought a gorilla suit.

  • My favourite costume was a plague doctor costume that I wore my senior year of high school on Halloween. I put a lot of time and effort putting it together.
