I'm a huge rpg fan and this game sucks it really does ! and it isnt Divine divinity anymore they changed the whole world and made shit of it :( If anybody says i dont know bout rpgs shut up i played = Baldurs gate 1 , Baldurs gate 2 + addons , Icewind dale 1 & 2 , Nwn 1 and 2 + addons , Morrowind + addons, Oblivion , Gothic 1,2,3 , Divine divinity , Diablo 2 + addons ( but its not an rpg in fact ) Sacred , Beyond divinity . Dragon age ofc + addons , Mass effect, Kotor , Drakensang + addons

Well, I've played both Dragon Age and Divinity II. I find both to be great games. It's well worth the money, in my opinion. Battles are rather fun, and the game is extremely immersive, with a lot of side quests and things to do. It's not a game for everyone though.

I do not like to compare it to Dragon Age though, the games might seem similar at first glance, but they are very different in most aspects.

well in my opinion dragon age cant be classed as an rpg. its more of a RTS (real time strategy) considering the gameplay is similar to that of age of empires or similar RTS games. I played DAO and it was pretty fun, but doesn't match the normal rpg genre.

As for divinity 2 i was told that the graphics looked kinda shitty. anyone who has it reply to me, lemme know how good they are.

DAO is the game of the year in my opinion, the best RPG to come out in ages...i haven't played divinity but i doubt it's better than DAO.

If you liked BG2 or NWN you will love DAO.

I have DAO and its definitely a good game, but I don't find it especially remarkable. I have played Div2 yet but Div 1 was unbelievably good. I would definitely say go get Div1 if you haven't played it yet. In my opinion, it's the 2nd best RPG of all time (behind Fallout 1)
