Yeah, I play as Russia on PC. I have won every battle I play against Europe. I only lost to Americans. All factions are equal, what isn't equal is the strategy of the players. If you have good strategy and quick reaction time, you will be unbeatable as any faction.

That depends if you're fighting AI or people. Europea AIs...well, AIs in general have the tendency to just 'tank' everything, and Europe has the lightest armour, soo...yah.

We're the fastest, though, and our Infantry take I think a bit more defense from garrisoning a buildign than the others.

I don't know, I'm pretty good at fighting American units except when they are in America. When they are on American ground, where they have the advantage of air support and stuff while Russia has nothing, we're pretty screwed. I do seem to be able to beat Europe even if they have the advantage. I still think it's all in your strategy. The reason it's so easy For Russia to beat Europe is Russia is heavily armored compared to Europe's very light armor. America is medium.

Why do people think france has a history of failure?

I mean, they won the 100 years war. In the 30 Years war they won large territories. In the spanish succession war the french king managed to install a relative of his on the spanish throne. Napoleon basically kicked everyones ass until he had practically all of europe against him, and even than he almost won.
