I saw J. Geils play in Tampa many years ago. A goofy new wave band called 3-D opened for them. They were booed off stage after about three songs. The band was pelted with crumpled cups of water and ice after they didn't get the hint and leave. The lead singer of 3-D told the crown to get bent after taking a head shot of ice. The crown cheered when they stormed off the stage. J. Geils was great!
