  • Too bad they couldn't have heard Al Hirt's "Sugar Lips." Maybe they could've made a bigger hit. Not really. Al's "Sugar Lips'" tempo probably wouldn't have made a good vocal. It's fun, though.

  • Thanks for this post, I've been looking for this song for quite awhile. I had a girlfriend I used to play this for because she definately had sugar lips. Why this only charted at #97 is beyond me. What a great vocal. Thanks again.
