The smaller motor is estimated to get 34mpg, and the larger one will most likely get a little less. I am exited! I will get this, as it will be much more fun to drive than a prius. =)
@renroj Actually we just don't have the 3-door 1-Series. But we have the 2-door coupe, and it is damn sexy. Seeing as I'm not fat nor a cowboy, despite being American, I think I'll take one over a pickup truck or mega SUV any day. Preferrably today if I had the money, lol

I agree with you... BMW should make the 3-door hatchback version of the 1-series... although, they are coming out with the 1-series coupe and the expected MSRP of the 128i is around $29k...
