Now even if you explore other organ models, and playing ( I've uploaded a huge variety of excellent electronic organ music on my channel BTW, click 'playlists') you will probably discover when you've come full circle that Ethel had the greatest musicality, skill AND that most awesome Hammond Leslie tone. The Leslie rotary speaker cabinet is a huge part of the sound of any electronic, or electromechanical ( like Hammond tone wheel & Wurlitzer ES) organ- natural vibrato.

Ethel was one of the most dynamic organists in the history of the Hammond. She was so dynamic the movie parts were written for her and she had acting talent which was well proven as well.
She was at one time married to actor Ralph Bellamy and sadly her end came in relative obscurity living in Florida.
She was a world traveler and was less than 5' tall. I hope that all of her movie appearances eventually make it to you tube!
