  • I found this piece through you, bought the music, and played it as one of my audition pieces to UNCG's music school, and got in!

Thank you very much for posting this and the others.

  • @mrbassooner1 Where do you get it?

  • @Oboe2167 I searched for Braun Bassoon Caprices and found it pretty easily. It has all of the others that Soyupsy plays in his other videos sans the Bach. Twenty-some in total. Well-worth it, in my opinion.

  • can you please tell me where i can find this music

  • quien escribio esa obra ?????

  • who is the wirter ????

  • Whoaa you're amazing! I hope I can get as good as you:)

  • wonderful playing. Can you please tell me more information on this music. Publisher, year etc.

  • At risk of sounding silly, when I was presented with the opportunity to learn another instrument, it was because of you and your videos that I chose bassoon. Of course I know that it will be years, if ever, before I reach anything near your skill level, just the chance of sounding like you do is enough to motivate me.

    I love your videos!

  • You are astonishingly wonderful :)

  • Impressive! You should compete in the IDRS.

  • Tank you for your video! You just inspire me to be a bassoon player!

You are so great! You are my idol! :D

  • w o w! best bassoon music i have ever heard!

  • I have the score for this but it's in treble clef for recorder, called "Fifteen solos by unknown masters of the eighteenth century" (of which this is the first one) edited by F.J. Giesbert, copyright 1937 by B. Schott's Söhne, Mainz. Bravo! M'ha agradat molt la teva interpretació, enhorabona! Una abraçada des de Nou Mèxic.

  • your amazing!!!!!!

  • I LOVE YOUX

  • where can I purchase this?

  • wow, respect ! beautiful, thanks for played this!!

  • Beautiful and impressive, love it!

  • I love the bassoon, I play treble clef instruments, I have such admiration for you being able to read the base clef!!! Amazing sounds from you!!! x

  • I have feeling it may be in tenor clef.

  • I was just going to say, my notes are all tenor clef

  • Anyways, bass clef isn't any harder to read than treble clef.

  • Are all these caprices in a book such as the Weissonborn book of bassoon literature? If so what is the title of the book?

  • Wow!! You sound amaizing! What kind of bassoon do you play?

  • Thank You! I play with a Heckel 8000 series

  • how do you stay so relaxed when you play fast? When I play fast, I get tense and my tone quality suffers...do you have any tips?

  • I always try to play as if I play a long note. I always try to give a lot of direction and never forgeting the phrasing.
