If you feel the need to be more precise, you can say that the Antonov 225 has been made in the USSR province of Ukraine.

Certainly, a product made after 1991 within the Ukrainian territory (intended todday as an autonomous state) can be defined as Ukranian.

Until 1991, Ukraine was not a country, it was a region, and to be more precise, a province of the USSR. So saying Ukraine for the federal state of USSR, thus until 1991, is like saying nowadays Texas for the USA.

Since Norway and Germany are two autonomous nations, their hypothetical union, without subjugation of one by other, would be a supranational political subject, as well as EU is for its member states. You, and many people, are committing a mistake of categories.

The average C5A is out of commission 35% of the time due to repairs or service so it's not a good design compared to other heavy transports. All C5As had to be totally re-winged years ago due to structural problems and the GE turbofans they use need overhaul every 1000 hrs (many have even failed in service long before that). The remaining C5As are going to be re-engined but whether that will increase their usability/reliability remains to be seen.

I live In magnolia delaware. Im just a couple miles from Dover Air force base. I see these going in and out all day and night long. I cant believe how they can stay in the air!! Looking up an one going over your house it is creepy how slow they can go and still stay in the air! They shake the house a lot of times!!!!

no dude. I remember flying on one of these from Yokota AFB Japan all the way to North Carolina on one of these monster cargo planes. It was loaded with a few trucks, I believe. We took up all of the runway to get in the air. :)

I was little at the time so I was scared that we were gonna crash because I figured the trucks would be too much weight for the plane to fly with. But hey. Now that I know better... It's The C-5 Galaxy! This baby can carry heliopters! HelicopterS!! WITH AN S! :D

When I went last July at the westover base, they were working on a c17 and I got to walk on the ladders and steel walk way all around and on the aircraft. I even got to walk over the top of the plane and touched the turbines. it was sick. when you just bearly tap the turbine fans, they rotate for like 2 min.

I don't believe that, I was just in a c-17, which is a much smaller cargo aircraft, and it seats 102. And the 102 are on the sides next to the cargo.

We almost never do that... usual load is 75 seats in the troop. They will sometimes load seats on pallets... but, that's a rarity (katrina)

probably the most reliable is the c-130j which I have video of and will soon have on my account, subscribe to me and you will see it do yome nasty turns and climbs the c-130j is the newest and can climb really high really fast

its a hardy aircraft and can move really at great speeds, the airbase that I live near sends c-130s to iraq and back on just few day trips. the c-5 is for the speedy transport of tanks and other heavy equipment for quick mobilization after an attack, like if an attack hap
