The kill animation happens at random and it's possible to turn it off because you're vulnerable, not worth it though :D Best way to trigger it is beat the shit out of the dragon and then finish the fucker with some conjured sword or axe.
@omgwtfdoran Hey, every time I do the one-handed execution, my character floats off to the side of teh dragon's head. The dragon dies, but it's really annoying. Has this ever happened to you? If so, is there any way I can fix it? (fresh install)
When fighting a dragon I run into the closest town and the dragon gets killed like within a min or so I just sit back and watch >:D
