Don Paulo has been evil against layton becuz in school layton had a girlfriend claire (who died sadly enough) and paul(don paulo) and dimitri had a crush on her too soo in the third game paul and layton was battling against dimitri who was in a trap set by "future luke"(clive) this is just a bit of the big spoiler in one of professor laytons adventures.
