this trade has devistated many atlanta braves fans. jeff francoeur was the one player in the history of major league baseball who knows the difference from a game and a job. he looks passed his slumping average and just has fun with the game, the way baseball should be played. he isn't the greatest player but he should be admired as if he were. this man is an icon. i hope everyone knows that. jeff francoeur will be missed. best wishes in the big apple frenchy.

very good trade for the mets. church is injury prone, and is allergic to hitting in a big spot. francoeur is only 25 and needed a change of scenery. btw he always hit in ny, look at his numbers against us. he even said he likes the excitement of ny.

frenchy leads the majors in 0-1 counts, enough said, he is the most toxic player in baseball, a massive hole in any lineup, he is simply a bad player, even when he had that good year, his ABs were only 2 or 3 pitches, once everyone figured out that he hacks at anything, nobody was dumb enough to ever throw him strikes

got to give frank wren props this year, got mclouth and got rid of francouer for a decent player in church

i cant see how any mets fan could like this. i know church had injury problems but the mets arent solving any problems by getting a slumping frenchy. i think the braves were more then willing to make this trade because of matt diaz on the bench. if church sucks, they will pop in the matt diaz bat.....booooom. defientlly an advantage for atlanta.....

This Trade is alright but Deffinatley Not a Block Buster Trade but thats what we need maybe we can Trade some Prospects for someone GOOD but i was really hoping the mets would trade Bobby Parnell Or Jon Niese for Aubery Huff but hopefully Omar will start trading some players or sign someone but finnally we did something
