  • The reason he wears bright red clothes is to confuse his opponents and instill fear in the hearts of his enemies.

  • If you listen carefully you can actually hear japanese sword artist and sport fencers being cut to pieces while he performs this devastating flourysh.

  • nice, that guy is fast!!

  • The best swordman I've ever see... i agree with llamanator3000

  • That is awesome!

  • 17 seconds of awesome!

  • whats the name of his final guard/position??iron gate?

  • I'm pretty sure, yeah.

  • no. the iron gate ('Isenport') stands with the tip ('Ort') of the blade on the ground. what he shows is a bad positioned 'Pflug'. well done, the 'Ort' would be directioned towards the enemy so you can thrust immediatly.

  • Ah, it depends on which master to are talking about. Meyer has two versions of iron door and I'm quite certain that's one of 'em. I think you're referring to Fiore, no?

  • That is one of Meyer's Iron Doors. Fiore called it the Boar's Tooth (albeit kindof a sloppy one).

  • i think iron gate is the arma club

To WIELE tłumaczy. Zwłaszcza nieznajomość długiego miecza. A jak ja walcze? Na pewno inaczej niż ty, a podobnym stylem co ten facet, coś go zbluzgał.

  • walcze toporem i migdałem, to z jakiego jestes bratstwa ?

  • Jestem w grupie rekonstrukcyjnej.

  • I wonder how it will be if we match him with Japanese kendo. I love both styles' techniques, and I like to see how they interact.

  • >.> kendo people get obliterated by that guy. this I know for a fact.

  • @llamanator3000 Well obviously; this was a true martial art that was used to kill people. Kendo -while BASED on kenjutsu - is a sport.

  • I have his Medieval Swordmanship book. I wish he had one of what a proper made Medieval sword does to a side of beef.

  • Well there is an ARMA video here on Youtube called "cutting meat - Great Sword" which shows the results of strikes from the elbow on a large piece of meat.

  • If you're in touch with John Clements at all, please ask him to consider showing some of his approach to sword and shield as described in "Medieval Swordsmanship....". Even something similar to this video (a florysh, as you say) would be interesting. Sadly the ARMA videos page doesn't have anything like that. Thanks.

  • I will sent a request to JC. Thanks for asking.
