I actually really enjoy using the UMP. You can only muster 2-3 kills per mag(without EXTD mags). Still fast fire rate. I use it when I know a few guys are using a shotgun on the other team. Most of the time it beat s them. I also love it for SnD. IMO. Underrated weapon.

I never used the UMP since MW3 came out and I hated the shit out of MW2 so I rarely ever played the game but tonight someone killed me with the UMP and then I watched one video on youtube with some dude raping with the UMP, so I decided to try it out and I like it. Its not as good as the MP7 or PP90 but it's still a good gun, I hate the P90 cause its an ugly gun so I never use it and I cant talk about a gun I never use. But yeah UMP is a good gun, especially up close

Yes your weapon ranks will reset every time you prestige even if you use unlock gear you will start at weapon level 1

@fearcrads Assassin-Hardline works better. Hardline doesn't necessarily enhance performance so it comes down to your other two perks. Having assassin at 2, hardline at 4, and sleight at 5 would benefit you the best, or having hardline last. That way you have your two strong perks at 2 and 5 instead of 3 and 5.
