Umm, okay. As just a subtitle test, I guess it works. Pretty lousy translation though, IMO. Overliberal in some places (何千匹の毒ヘビ各種 as "several thousands of the world's deadliest snakes" and 日本上陸 as "slithering into Japan") and overliteral in others (a really stiff translation of the ヘビー pun).

Not that the Japanese subtitles are much better though. Some of them seem like they just made 'em up rather than actually translating.

Sorry, it says "I hate airplanes *and* snakes," or -stretching the translation "I've had it with airplanes and these */&!@ snakes!" (Expletive added as expletives as we know them don't exist in Japanese - they do have ways of expressing these sentiments however)

That's the problem with translation. Some things don't translate. All it says there is "I hate snakes!"

- Kinda tame compared to what is really being said! : )
