National Geographic, that's a new one. I did I quick Google and found 2 references, one said NG did a story on the Brown Mountain Lights (nothing on Paulding). A second one from an article in Wisconsin Academy Review that said National Geographic denied that too.
And no one can tell me which Unsolved Mysteries this was on (even if it were, Unsolved Mysteries is hardly a good reference)..

One time I witnessed it light up the woods off to the left side of the tree line, at its brightest the one light split into three lights and streaked over to the right of the trees. To say that its car lights means you have not seen this phenomenon yourself, or you lack the intelligence to theorize what it could possibly be.

There is a house at the end of a gravel road with a suspicious light post in the area where the light comes from. The Paulding light has something to do with this house.
If you live in the area, or are going to see it, investigate it further, cause I think this is all some big hoax.

Dave, with all due respect, I don't think that what you saw over Lake Ontario is the famous "Paulding Lights." Fact is, due to the curvature of the earth, you'd have to be pretty darn near the Upper Peninsula in order to see this light, as THIS supposed phenomenon is only seen in Watersmeet, MI.

In Mich can anyone get a deer camera and set it out under where these lights appear that way no one is detected they cost only fifty bucks at walmart place them out there high and the disk you can download on your ph and put it back in deer camera another night

also googles from the military expensive but they work also
any floppy disk camera can pick these up thats why they quite making these cameras grab them and hang on to them they will mean alot later
Go to the salt mines and lake with these and watch what you get on there
