..cont...charging,put the coil inside the ipad so the ipad looks stock,just find out where the powe pins are and solder the internal coil to them internally,then match up a coil in you mount to it so when you slide it into the dash mount the 2 coils line up,mabe a discreet switch on the ipad might be needed 2 disconet the internal coil connection,but i dont think so,u could just take apart one of those power mat chargers,u know the king u just lay you device on w/o having to plug it in

check out the "what can ipad do with my car?"mercedes benz video by khunbon,you could have done it that way and made a mount that looks like the way u made look now,but be able 2 b removed,& u could even use a trendnet internet camera server,tv-ip110 for a rear vision cam,its only$49 at microcenter,all without wires,only thing u wouldnt have is charging&ability 2run off the cars power,but u could have designed ur own wireless induction charger,took off the ipads back&put a big coil for induction

nice,but heres what i would have done,just connected it the cars audio system wirelessly by connecting a A2DP blutooth adapter/reciever to the aux input of cars stereo,&made the ipad be able to be slid out so you could take it out&use it as ipad still,not to mention 4 security reasons,also some other things that could b done wirelessly are,connection to a rearview camera,if you use a wifi camera,there cheap now i saw one for 50$,also a obd2 to wifi adapter and the rev apps app to monitor the ecu

I would like to point out, as amazing as the hybrids are, you can easily recieve just as epic results (though maybe slightly less) with other speakers and sound pcoressing, hes running DSP and the very finly tuned the EQ< the MS-8 could easily give the same improvbments in a system. dont believe those drivers are that magical, although they certainly are amazing speakers :)

gorgeous job, but one thing i would consider (pardon if it's already mentioned on here) is that instead or relying on 3g for my connection, i would install one of the mobile wifi boxes that sprint or verizon is putting out now, tiny little portable things w/ pretty solid connection. and actually cheaper to have one of those around in the car than paying for the at&t data plan and a slower 3g connection.
