i am pregnant and these food are making me cook at 2 am, afghan food are realy good food.......... indian and paki food get delicous by adding too much spice in it, i cook indian food too and without the spice it's not good as it should be, but most of afghan food are good even without spice. afghan Boolani gandana is no where in the world with homemade yogurt

@SeeingNames Dude, Persian food is not just Iranian food, because half of Afghanistan´s population is Persian so a lot of Afghan food is Persian food, without copying Iranian food. Afghan food have never copied any of Iranians food. But I have to admit that Afghan food have sometimes been a copy of Uzbek food.

@Amenah3 yes you are right. i was already very aware that most Afghani's are from Persian background. Dari is almost exactly the same as Farsi. I just thought there was more Pakistani influence food wise but obviously not as much. i never said Afghans copy Persian food, just that it is very similar.

Geographicaly and culturally, Food wise, music it's more like a central asian country. Our music, food, culture is very similiar to that of uzbekistan,iran,tajikistan etc. While Pakistan/india is totaly a different culture from central asians (Afghans,uzbeks,tajiks) etc...

even our races dont match up, we central asians are more close to the germans and kurds than Pakis and indians (south asians)
